#2several problems with this.
1. mid-shoe entry in single deck. good luck finding it.
2. back count so you can jump in and play 1 hand?
3. more heat on single deck.Comment -

#3Bumping an old thread in case anyone is looking for advice or some coaching. Kaabee has it right. The more advanced counts are great, but they are just that - more difficult and generally unnecessary. Sounds like you have a foundation in counting already. To begin to master what you need to accomplish at single deck, make sure you have the right basic strategy for single deck. With hi-lo and the illustrious 18 indices, you'll do great. Unfortunately there aren't many 3:2 single deck games left, and the ones that exist are the sweatiest games around. The El Cortez in Vegas backs off $5-$20 counters every day. The people they're backing off are no geniuses either. They may be people sitting down at a BJ table for the first time with little practice.
Instead of extending yourself trying a new count, learn the Illustrious 18 for hi-lo. If you find good 3:2 single deck games outside of the El Cortez, please post it here!Comment
