Mir didn't really deserve a title shot. He was replacing a suspended Overeem.

Mir had no gameplan. Somebody on these MMA panel shows needs to say to his face that his team is a real problem. He trains in a personal gym, he's cornered by his dad and he's not being conditioned to fight top guys.

i think the only one who has a legitimate shot to take Dos Santos is i Brock comes out of retirement. Brock has been wrecking guys in the WWE lately.

What seriously could he do? He tried the takedown and it failed. With all the blood in the ring it was kinda slippery to get any footing. At least he lasted a round. Brock would have taken that one shot and jumped out of the cage

That he can go to the UFC and fight for the title ? Fedor has already said he's going to retire after the pedro rizzo fight I think that fight is pointless, he should have retired a while back

Great fights last night, profited about 285. Unfortunately none of my last three dog plays hit, which was a bummer because just one of them coming through would have covered any type of loss on the others. I thought SDR was looking good until I realized he is horrible off his back haha. Sucks that the two dogs I bet the most on didn't come through where elkins and varner I only had 25 each on, and I feel stupid for playing herman last minute at not the best odds. In the end I can't complain, hit two nice dogs and got in the green. Should have had more faith in Teixeira and stacked on him, I don't think he'll have that good a price again against anyone who isn't top 10.

Overall I thought it was a solid card, lots of good finishes. Should have parlayed all the unders for the main card haha!! I was on sherdog earlier and saw lots of people in the forum saying the barboza stoppage should be overturned for varner's fence grabbing...lol! He was rocked and just surviving at that point, fence grabbing or not he was getting smashed and the ref did what he was suppposed to. I just can't believe people are so ready to tarnish a solid upset for varner, its sad. Anyways, there was lots of value in that card in retrospect, wish I would have put more faith into some of my plays - always in hindsight
