Basically what I've thought all along of him. A liar, a fake, and most of all just a promoter.
He is a very good fighter. But it is funny how fans of his think he is a God and what he says is the truth. He has lied up and down while promoting (hey that is pretty much how you promote) but his fans should admire his boxing skills and not believe every word he says.
Manny is and never was the reason that fight will never take place. Mayweather IS scared to lose. He is very skilled in the art of boxing, but he has a pretty padded record.
Usually boxers like him get overlooked. As a very technical guy, very good fight, but not exciting. Usually a guy like him is struggling to get big fights and big paydays. Yet he has always been loved/hated and interesting because of his mouth. He is a better promoter than he is boxer. Without his mouth he would be "that technical, defensive, boxer over there" Without his mouth he would basically be Andre Ward of boxing today. Known fighter. Great fighter. He wouldn't be looking at 20-40 mil paydays.
Anything Mayweather says isn't credible and should expect he is just promoting his shit rather than thinking he is giving you the facts. He has been scared of Manny, he has made it hard to come to terms so the fight will never take place. He has robbed boxing fans of the best/most interesting fight of decade.Comment -

The actual interview was retarded. Mayweather, I give him credit for knowing how to scam PPV money away from people and make his loot. But other than that he is a complete fool. It is in his own words that a fight with Manny isn't worth not getting every penny possible.

Interesting read but the guy ran with a few quotes that can be interperted in numerous ways and made them fit the agenda for the article he was writing.
Neither Floyd or Manny is scared of the other guy. It always boils down to money and Arum is not going to make any concessions to Floyd as he believes his guy is the bigger draw and is dealing from a position of power.

article is biased and took floyds comments out of context. pacquiao dodged mayweather may 5. bob arum gave a bunch of pathetic excuses ranging from needing more than 6months for a small cut to heal, building an outdoor arena, cited floyds legal issues (wouldnt interfere with fight), etc. pacquiao looked pathetic in last fight and dodged floyd may 5. how convenient for bob arum to suggest a june date which he knows is unavailable?

this has got to stop. pacquiao has dodged mayweather for years. he has refused to comply with USADA olympic style testing. Then he "says" he'll agree to take test knowing he'll never have to bc he refuses to schedule the fight may 5. Pacquiao probably uses erythropoeitin (EPO). also known as blood doping. its what lance armstrong used. enhances your endurance by increasing red blood cells. Nevada urine test wont detect it. thats why you NEED USADA testing. how do you think he throws over 1,000 punches and never slows down? its not conditioning. its performance enhancing drugs. he also went up several weight classes and never slowed down at all in terms of speed. that is also unnatural. To put your health on the line against a CHEATER who has an UNFAIR ADVANTAGE because of PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS is stupid. It's one thing to take steroids and then hit a baseball. its another thing to take steroids and then punch someone in the head 200 times. For floyd to put his health on the line, against somoene who could be using PED's, when hes not taking something himself... is dangerous.
