I'm watching the post-fight presser live, and Sonnen is talking mad shit. Dana is basically saying that it's going to happen. They want a huge fight for Vegas, Super Bowl weekend, and he said Sonnen v. Silva would pretty much fit what they're looking for. I'm almost sure it's going to happen. And i think Sonnen will win.

Agree with everything... its gonna happen - chael, whether we like it or not, set it up perfectly... Its a perfect scenario with big $$$ written all over it. You know dana is gonna go for it

Think chael finishes what he started in the 1st fight and gets the UD and finally dethrones the spider.

Of course the UFC wouldn't allow the stipulations Chael is asking for but you know he's going to use it as trash talk leading up to a potential fight. Whether this was Chael's script or Chael's + UFC script, it creates hype and excitement!

If you ever used steroids then you would know how much of an advantage they give you. If Sonnen isn't doped up he isn't going to be able to man handle A. Silva like that. Watch out for another Silva highlight win in this one. He is going to be pissed off like never before with Sonnen's tapping his wife on the butt comment.

You know I thought the same thing at first... but Sonnen looked damn good handling Stann in his last fight and I'm pretty sure he was off the roids. If he can just utilize the same gameplan while avoiding the big shots and subs, I don't see why he can't win this. While Anderson's bruised ribs may have seriously had an impact on him in the last fight I don't think healthy ribs will keep him standing. I love making $ on Anderson.... but I just see value in Sonnen if his line is at +200 or better.

How exactly are you sure he was off the roids? I'm pretty sure Sonnen has been allowed to continue his use of TRT. Not that I see it helping him much against a healthy Silva. Sonnen is going to get hit a LOT more in this fight, and I see it ending by TKO in the second or third.

Well Sonnen would have to be a complete idiot (and he may be) to continue to use peds after what he's been through... not saying he can't cycle and get around it. There is a difference between roids and trt obviously. But I believe Sonnen can hold Anderson down regardless. And he's never been ko'd cold so my thinking is that Silva will have to pull off the sub yet again.

Yeah, and Chris Leben had never been KO'd before, Belfort had never been KO'd before, I don't think Okami had either. And on top of that he rocked then submitted Henderson. Nobody can just take Anderson's shots if he starts landing them clean. I'm not saying he's going to land clean and knock him out, but to act like Anderson can't knock Sonnen out is absurd.

If this fights happen -- I think you will see the most aggressive Anderson Silva performance yet. He will just go for the kill and not wait around to get taken down.

well they did say GSP/Diaz ison superbowl weekend, but they did announce that Jan 14th they are going back to Brazil and they do need a main event for that. Imagine Sonnen in Brazil, may not make it out alive.
