i kid...just wanted to get your attention...theres no way ortiz would be favored...which illustrates that regardless of all the ortiz nut-hugging and enthusiasm, that pretty much all knowledgeable mma fans realize that this fight was an anomaly(regardless of the fact that bader has some serious deficiencies)....

so,what does everyone think an immediate rematch would open around?..i`m thinking somewhere in the -200/-250 range...

      -200 sounds right.

i was thinking even at first glance, but then i realized i would jump on bader at even.

        Agreed.

Ortiz definitely hit Bader right on the sweet spot with that punch, because Bader was able to take a few decent licks from Rogerio. Really, really doubt Bader would get dropped in a rematch, particularly if he focused on wrestling.

How much would you feel confident betting on Bader if he was -200 in a rematch?????

For some reason, Betting on Bader just scares me and don't have lots of confidence in him. I agree with poster here who said he f'in knew Bader wasn't that good. He has really looked just mediocre in every fight.

yea i'd think Bader -200 is about right. Curious to see who they put up against Ortiz now. winner of Franklin/Nog or Griffin/Rua was mentioned at the press conference. I wonder how many fights this buys him, if he lost to say Rua in his next fight, would they cut him?

i would take Tito at +180.

So far we have seen Badar KO Vinny Magalhães who dosent take a punch very well .. Wrestle **** Marrero and Schafer KO Jardine who was in the middle of losing 7 outta 9 , then Wrestle **** lil nog. Hes going to do well against BJJ guys and fighters with a decent to weak wrestling game. Tito has a great wrestling game, on that is bettwe geared toward MMA then Baders. He also has been training striking alot longer then Bader.

I dont like Tito, but i dont feel he is washed up yet, he lost close fights, its not like he kept getting fiinished in the first round like Liddell.

If I were a book, I would actually set the line closer the PK, just because people are idiots and bet on Ortiz.

-200 is about right for sure. There's about a 90% chance Tito comes in with some type of random injury no one has ever heard of.

Focusing only on wrestling wouldn't help, it could actually make the fight easier for Tito.

i would bet bader up to -200 if they fought again. i think the fight going a full 3 rounds would be a better bet.

I would never bet Bader at -200 , the guy is so overrated its hard to tell what would happen in a rematch

Bader did not look the same in his last couple of fights... his facial expression before this last fight was almost like "oh shit what did I get myself into" Until I see him come back with some real confidence I can't see backing him in these big time fights.

Well, no, it wouldn't. When going for a shot, Bader always pulls out and throws a right hand if he feels that he isn't going to immediately secure the takedown; as a result, his neck is barely exposed at all. He's mentioned this in numerous interviews, and describes it himself as a way of avoiding the guillotine; you can see examples of it during his fights all the time. Even though he's shown very poor choke defense while his opponent is on top of him, he's not particularly susceptible to falling into a guillotine off of a shot. So unless you're expecting another Ortiz triangle attempt, Bader probably isn't going to get tapped in a hypothetical rematch.

Although Bader is that good enough of a wrestler to take a "half shot" and throw the right hand, He may run into a great wrestler that should beable to capitalize on that, as you know there is a counter for every move in this sport, similar to wrestling.

the match that makes the most sense for ortiz is probably a rubber match with griffin or maybe franklin.

Who does Bader get next? If he loses again you gotta cut him no? Although losing to Jones isn't really a knock on you but I feel like if you lose to Tito...that's on you.

a loss to jones is becoming a sort of mulligan......not exactly a do-over....but,it`s just accepted and disregarded.....
