Why is Pacquiao fighting guys 17 pounds heavier?

He's a great fighter but gets hit unnecessarily due to being the smaller man.At one point he was a flyweight.A truly amazing fighter

pacquaio is awesome. too bad his height limits him as he gets to higher weight lcasses. if he doesnt fight mayweather it would be interesting to see how far up the ladder he can climb.

I joked about where would he stop? Cruiser? Heavy? But I think he stops here. I'm sure there are even bigger fighters that he can still beat but after a while your pushing it too far. He came in at 144 for a fight at 150. Going any higher wouldn't be a good idea. He could be down 25 lbs or more on fight night.

There's no way he should fight any higher. 160 is out of the question imo.

Mark of a real fighter, continuing the move up to find competition since there was none left where fought. Like many have said though the moving up will stop soon, due to time remaining, lack of blockbuster competition, and his career aspirations.
