    small boxing underdog...
amilcar melian at anywhere from +200/+260....fighting better known old vet carlos baldomir....a good capper i know thinks this is worth a small shot.. a

it`s in argentina(both guy`s native country)...but in melian`s home city of san juan...he`s 28...baldomir`s a "hard" 39....and is coming off a brutal knockout by prodigy saul alvarez...he`s been relatively inactive....

milian isn`t a contender....but he`s been fighting relatively well of late vs solid fighters in their prime......

wondering what baldomir has left...willing to go small on the doggie ..

    worth a shot..small.....

what pushed me over the edge is the fact that baldomir fought once a year the last 2 years and is jumping back in roughly 60 days after getting brutally ktfo?.....at 39.....

could be way wrong....i`ll find out...

I don't cap boxing, but I could use some action tonight and I'll trust what you got here. I put a little bit on him at +240. GL!

Na, I had no time to cap Strikeforce. I put too much into 123 lol. I'm still debating a small play on Finney - gunna try to review some tape within the next hour and make a decision.

Speaking of fighting after being brutally KO'd...

Waachim Spirtwolf! For posterity sake, I wanted very badly to bet on him tonight at +250, but I can't seem to pull the trigger. I know that Z is badly overrated, but I honestly don't know anything about Spiritwolf other than his most recent Challenger series fight.

looks from here like do or die for zaromskis.....

he lost to nick diaz(bad match-up...understandable)..and santos(naturally much bigger guy that just ran him over)....

now, they`re putting him in with another striker roughly his own size...a guy that`s a .500 fighter(but honestly,a little better than that).....that he should have some technical advantages over...

imo,if zaromskis wants to stay even remotely relevant in the major mma orgs.,he has to beat guys like spiritwolf....

definitely not what he was cracked up to be...you can`t win every fight with a head kick...

Cyborg is hovering around .500 too , and while there is absolutely no shame in being beaten by Diaz; the I got knocked out by one Diaz punch is an exclusive club

I'm excited to see this fight, and a little pissed at myself for not going with my gut

                      shite.....

"Former welterweight world champion Carlos “Tata” Baldomir (46-13-6, 14 KOs) won a ten round split decision over fellow Argentinean Amilcar Funes (22-10, 17 KOs) in a jr middleweight bout on Friday night at the Estadio Aldo Cantoni in San Juan, Argentina."

                      sorry guys...

Pretty much just a rebound fight for Baldomir
"Real fight don't start till round 13, in round thriteen ya asshole locks up, ya balls get tight, and ya don't wanna go another second, that's when the real fight starts"- Mike Mccalum

this guy was 9-0 fighting in san juan(9-1 now)....

from all indications,it was close.....a bit surprised it didn`t slide his way....

if you felt comfortable laying better than 3-1 on the 39 year old given the situational issues, hats off to you...

Split decision on a +240 dog is the right side IMO. Bad luck. Get em next time!
