A Big L mention, nice. We have some posters who know what is up. Gang Starr is timeless.

Some of my favs include, Ghostface (Cuban Linx is one of the best albums of all time it was basically a Rae and Ghost album but Ghost was just featured for some reason, although he is basically on every track), Big L, OC, AZ, Outkast. Elzhi has some of the most skills out there yet is widely unknown. GZA. Joey Ortiz has punchlines for days. A little young and not as good as I thought he was going to be but Joey Badass is good for a 18 year old. His partner Capitol Steez was less recognized but the better rapper I think, then he killed himself.

Fan of all those artists a lot actually. Haven't listened to much from Immortal Technique since the american revolution vol 2 or whatever it was called tho.

I went through a phase when I thought it was dead. But have learned that there are some good new artists out if you look enough. Remember going to a Big Krit concert before he ever made it and thinking this guy is good. The Blu and Exile album from a handful of years ago. Was really digging Kendrick when a while back, but I didn't really care for good kid mad city, even though it is highly acclaimed.

And I forgot to mention this album. This was album of the year that year as far as I'm concerned. Brought back the 1 rapper 1 producer album ala Gang Starr. Lyrics and beats on point.
