I don't know about that. Joey Beltran has a lot of TKO's on his record, but also three losses (1 recently) to relative no-namers. He has lost twice to Tony Lopez and once to Yohan Banks (the can that the Florida Athletic Commission decided wasn't competitive enough for Lashley on the Strikeforce: Miami card).

Also, he isn't a very big heavy weight. He's 230 and pretty flabby. He can cut down to 205 and get massacred or he can stay at heavyweight and get massacred.

If the UFC scoops up anyone, I think it should be the man who beat Beltran last, Tony Lopez. He is 17-2, vs Beltran's 10-3, and has badass pigtails.

At 6'4'', he is a tall LHW that could make for some interesting match-ups. He hasn't lost since 2007 and is riding a 15 fight win streak.
