This is an over hyped training bout, Pacman will win this, he knows this, Cotto knows this, the promoters know, the ref's know this because the only real fight that will be fought is between Pacman and Mayweather. The big money will be made when these two fight, all these fights with Pacman vs whoever and Mayweather vs whoever are just building hype. The Pacman vs Mayweather fight is just too big from a commercial and financial point of view to let Cotto win.

Pacman and Mayweather will win every fight until they face each other, just like Hayes and Klitchko's will win every fight till they face each other.

This is so rigged there's no point capping it, Pacman wins.

Kara -- I will put all of my points up on Cotto. Screw the current line. I'll put my 80 something points up vs. 100 of yours. Do you want it?

I was on Pacquiao over DLH and Hatton. You can check my post history.

DLH just did not have it anymore and Hatton was the most overrated fighted I had seen in a long time.

Pacquiao because of these two fights has been GROSSLY overrated. He's the 2nd best boxer in the world, because Mayweather .. but he can be beat especially at 145.

Cotto is very strong, but he I doubt his ability to outbox Pacquiao. I rewatched Cotto vs Clottey on The 101 on DirecTV earlier this week and if you take out the 1st inning fluke knockdown and how Clottey fell and sprained his ankle in the Cotto's corner because of water that was dropped when he sat down in the previous round, Clottey wins.

Cotto is not and was not a very accurate puncher. He was outboxed by Clottey left and right. He cuts rather easy. Inexperienced corner with mediocre cut guys.

Pacquiao has never fought a fighter as strong as Cotto though. I dont know how he will react to a power punch by Cotto. If he can take it, Pacquaio will outbox Cotto. If he can't and Cotto gets that sense of urgency like in the Clottey fight, Cotto wins. Cotty was simply outboxed by Clottey, but when Cotto decided to fight and attack, then Cotto was simplly in another class with Clottey.

He instead decided to stay back and box (maybe because of the cut). If he does this. Cotto will lose. He need to come and Pacquiao early and hit him hard and often. Pacquaio has never been punched by someone like him. Maybe he can wear him down.

My book has it at Pacquiao -255 and to be quite honest, im playing Pacquiao but if I were to give anyone advice, it would be a no play. Too many unknown variables.

Cotto has a meh defense and isnt very accurate, but if his punches affect Pacquiao and Cotto gets confident and aggresive, I can see him winning 12 rouns.

I dont think Cotto will knock out Pacquiao in best case scenario though.

Prediction: Pacquaio in 12, although if the cuts become a problem - it could change the fight where the ref stops it via TKO.

I wouldn't say the he is GROSSLY over rated, people dont give any credit on what he had accomplished on the sports. If he is going to win tonight (assuming) he will capture his 7th world title. This is history in the making as no one had done it. Some people overlooked what he had done especially in the lower weight class, he beat all the hall of famers out there.

Round 12: The crowd chants Pacquiao's name, and after a ?? combination, referee Kenny Bayless steps in, cradles Cotto and waves an end to the fight.

Manny Pacquaio wins by 12th-round knockout

Another hyped up bum fight, Cotto's a joke and always knew he was going to loose, this was over before it even began. The likes of Pacman are in another league, the only fight worth capping is Pacman vs Mayweather, these two will win everyone that faces them until then with ease, the plots already written don't fall victim to the media hype.

Yeah, COTTO only won 2 of the 12 rounds... pretty much got dominated.

I'm surpised the KO came in the 12th. For COTTO to almost take the fight the distance.

PAC by decision +300 would have been a play for me but I stayed away. Lucky me! Whoever put a couple dimes on the -260, congrats!!

tko 12 doesnt do this fight justice. it could have easily ended anytime after the 5th or 6th round. in fact, im surprised cotto's corner and the officials let it go as long as it did.
