UFC 261: Usman vs. Masvidal 2 (April 24, 2021)

I figured my boy Jorge would lose again, but I've never seen him get KO'd and I've followed him since his last 3-4 fights in Strikeforce. Not looking it up, but Im guessing 8-10 years since he got KOd or subbed

He looked good too. Usman threw a couple of crazy windmill punches R1. Thought he could actually gas maybe late R3, but Jorge thought his chin was iron and got careless

Actually Jorge subbed 2009 and KOd 2008. Thats 12 years since he got stopped. Usman is a monster

I lost my ass on this card both in DFS and with my bets. Only bet Crute, Crute/Valentina/Usman parlay, and Weili by decision but even though the card didn't go my way I still enjoyed most every fight on the card so in that sense it was a win.

I don't think I've ever seen Usman come close to gassing tbh

I thought Crute was going to win that fight if he didn't get injured. He may have stolen that first round with his wrestling and that would have changed things for me betting wise if he won but that's how MMA goes sometimes. I didn't see Rose knocking out Weili like that but I did think she was the most likely to win of the three championship challengers and she came through for her backers.

10-9 Masvidal R1 and 10-8 Molina R3 were the two scorecards he submitted. Both bad. Scoring R1 for Masvidal is horrendous.

I was trilled someone shut his mouth. His extra shots on Ben while Ben laid stiff were totally uncalled for an he kept running his mouth months after that. Good to see him on someone’s highlight reel for a change. Let’s see if he enjoys it like he enjoyed busting Bens balls. Man Usman is the ultimate mouth shutter. Breaking Covington’s jaw now this. Impressive
