These two guys going tonight are both heavy favorites (Gracie more so) and have very good matchups. Parlayed together they come out to just better than even money.
Kron Gracie makes his UFC debut and is a member of THAT Gracie family. His opponent is Alex Caceres, a 14-11 mid tier fighter and if you know anything about UFC and debuting big names you’ll know that this matchup is very much in Gracies favor. UFC wants to feed him someone so he can gain a following and eventually be a draw. That all goes to shit if he loses his first fight, so he’s getting a guy that he will take the the ground and effortlessly out wrestle.
As far as Cain Valasquez goes....this is an interesting matchup and the first fight Cain has been in since 2016. He’s had a myriad of injuries since but it widely considered one of THE if not THE best heavyweight in the division. Even champ Daniel Cormier believes it. Cain is known for his cardio and outworking his opponent and he draws Francis Ngannou who has the gas tank of a hummer. When someone wrestles Francis, he gasses out. Stipe Miocic completely exposed Francis, and I think a healthy Cain walks through Stipe. Make no mistake, Francis can hit so hard he could knock Cain out and make me feel it from my couch, but Cain didn’t come back from all of this just to go fist for fist with that monster. He’s going to take him to the ground and wear him out. This parlay is unit for unit and I think it’s lower risk than most bets on the board tonight.
