#702I judged it cyborg 50-45. Cashed anyway for me, my book doesn't offer -5.5. Didn't put a bet on magny/condit, regret that right now. Lost on diakese with most of you. Positive night for me but I wanted bigger.
Some great cappers on this board. I usually only bet main card, as I don't know prelim fighters like you guys do.Comment -

#703Right. Good luck even finding a casino in vegas that will allow you to parlay a fighter with the round total, let alone host props on a UFC fight. Dem shiny fountains and pointy needle lookin casinos weren't built off prop bets.Comment -

#704all the guys complaining in here all have the same beef and they should. Now this was the main event. What do u think happen all around the country? Same shit, this was probably the majority of bets on this fight. This isn't bad judging this is stealing.Comment -

#705Vegas is such an wonderful honest place no way they could do anything like that. KInda like when they CJ Ross had it 114-114 in the Mayweather Canelo match to wipe out all unanimous wagers. Kermit go away okay. I get it a trillion dollar business world wide has no corruption in it whatsoever. So over your headComment -

#706Did anyone pick Cyborg by UN decision? I didn't see anyone call a Cyborg decision win period in this thread or among MMA friends of my own or in MMA write ups..
VEGAS wins tonight in the main event.. We all lose, end of story.. It happens. Next... That's why Vegas continues to survive, thrive and grow.. House wins...
Gotta pick your spots and think outside the box at times.. I don't even know what the odds were for that prop? Anyone, Bueler, Bueler?Last edited by JIBBBY; 12-31-17, 01:36 AM.Comment -

#707they take what they want and as long as u idiots think everything is on the up and up it will never change. This was a huge betting day in all sports and if u look around cbb was all books winning. NBA book won almost everything. CFB books won everything but the Penn state game. Sports betting is a lot like politics. Some guys figure it out and most get rolled right over. Have a nice night.Comment -

What book(s) was this prop bet played at? What Vegas Casinos had this prop? And isn't there limits on these types of plays?

#712Round one Holly looked nervous as hell, I think you putting too much value on that first exchange where Holm made it look ugly but landed a good combo to set up head kick. Other than that it was on to watching that animal stalk it's fookin prey all day long. Appeared to be her game plan to stalk without throwing leads, just hunch up like a gorilla and wait to counter. Especially in round 2. Looked like the exact same exchange the entire round. Holly leads with a weak jab, drops her left or even reaches with it, either way, boom , two to the dome, and out she bounces. Over. and over and over again. Like we were watching Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, and someone's controller got stuck. LOL. Still, Holm got nothing to be ashamed of at all and can build off this fight.Comment -

#713Two judges scored the first 2 rounds for Holm.
Imagine if Holm won the 5th round. It would've been a majority decision for Holm.
Let that sink in.Comment -

#715that wouldve probably been the worst title fight robbery in UFC history if that happened
literally Holm only won the clinch battles and she just held her on the cage and pushed off after 10 seconds , other then that she got outlanded and by a big margin on damage imoComment -

#716What hilarious to me is the sharp judging the fight before....then 48-47's LOL.....hilarious......in other new I felt VERY lucky to cash the over 2.5 on the Khabib fight....went big after losing on Roundtree and cavillo....Nurg could have easily sunk in the RNC a few time even tho Barbosa did an OK job of defending.....he even said after he wanted it to go 15 LOL....Comment -

#718Here's where I am at so far... will prob be adding more throughout the night. We'll see.
Straight Plays
De La Rosa +195, .5u
Vettori -235, 3u
Magny +135, 1u
Barboza +250, 1u
Parlays
Rountree+ Diakiese parlay +100, 1.5u
Nicolau + Cyborg parlay -115, 1.5u
Nicolau + Rountree/Oleksiejczuk parlay u1.5 +112, 1.33u
Good luck everyone!
Pretty bad set of circumstances for me so far... Now I wanna turn degenerate. Here's the first step:
Added: Diakiese+Cyborg, +112, 1.5u
Continue degenerate style. Added Calvillo -215, 2.15u. This is a square ass bet. Oh well.
Literally everything is bad tonight. Doubling down on Barboza. Added 1u at +300. Let's see how low we can go.
FINAL YTD OF 2017: 127-121, +9.35u
Sucks to end the year with my biggest loss of the whole year. I need to do a lot more reflection on the year's bets, but ultimately, any year where you end in the positive is a victory in its own right, though I really hope to turn out much better than this in the long run. I did manage to pay for both of my trips to Vegas this year as well, so I'll take it. Two paid trips and finishing in the plus. Much higher goals for next year though.Comment -

#719Dude, I just told ya, Vegas casinos don't offer that prop. None. I'm in vegas now, guy. Bad judging in fight game as old as Moses. doesn't necessarily mean always for the fix. Home crowd might have given Holm couple extra rounds. Maybe was judged some on outcome relative to expectation. Valient effort. maybe one of the judges busted their girlfriends suckin Cyborg's rooster before the fight and had it out for her. This is a crazy world that revolves around more shit than sticking it to Thor and his fuckin prop bet.Comment -

Thor thinks that Judges in Vegas are fixing the points in decisions for obscure off-shore prop bets.Comment -

#722Ended year (actually since I started tracking in July) up 42 units.
Bet $71k and profit of $7.87k for an average return of 11% of amount wagered.
Ended this month down $2k though so that hurt a bit.
Some other fun stats:
ML betting returns 34% of amount wagered
Point spread betting returns 36.3% of amount wagered
Over/under return 12.4% of amount wagered
Props returned -21.2% of amount wagered
Live betting returns 43.4% of amount wagered
Looks like I need to stop playing props!Comment -

#726When i say Vegas i mean gambling world wide. I guess i just use that term "Vegas" for some strange reason. Let me show u something. Look at some of the horrible decisions that have happen. Im not talking about shit fights. Im talking about big betting fights. You will find a lot of those same judges on those fights. That guy Sal something seems to be on every big fight. In boxing you have Jerry Roth, Moretti, and two others i can't think of on the top of my head. Why u think Benson Henderson kept that title so long. Nobody was betting this fuk but sure as hell he was getting every close decision. A guy like Frankie Edgar everyone loves to bet. After BJ he couldn't buy a decision. Think what you want. Heck i remember a time i told a site that i was gonna predict a game and show them who would stiff the game and how it would happen. You know what happen? It went exactly how i said it would. You know what guys said to me? I got lucky. The certain quarterback just had a bad game. The same guy who had three terrific games until he played a shitty team. Watch tomorrow in the NFL how the teams that have to win struggle. flacco might be the biggest crook since Brett Favre. Watch him keep that game inside the number. Watch Seattle struggle and the biggest crook of them all Matt Ryan most likely won't cover and i even doubt if he wins. This same prick in the superbowl was snapping the ball with 23 seconds left on the clock when they were up big, to let the all American boy Brady win that game. Same Ryan taking horrible sacks. Fumbling in key spots. He went from having a good game to forgetting how to even play the game all in one game lol. Honestly i don't care if anyone believes me. I know im right and only one in ten would agree with me. Heck i even had times where nitwits wanted to fist fight me because they didn't like me talking about their hero's like this. Coaches, targeted players and refs are all in cahoots to fuk the bettors. I always wondered what the payoff was for these guys fixing games. Well beside the league making billions off this cheating these certain atheletes seem to always get these cushy tv jobs. The latest was Romo. I knew when that stiff was gonna tank a game almost as easily as when i see Flacco and Rivers tank one. Rivers will end up with one of those tv gigs just like the super crook Fouts did.Comment -

UFC Judges in America are not fixing scores for freaking prop bets from an offshore book's prop bet.
And if players were fixing games like you say, they would be coming out of the woodwork like termites writing books and doing interviews about the corruption in the league when they are flat broke off of their ass. Look how many NFL and NBA players are out of the league and don't have 2 nickles to rub together. Now if these guys were part of a grand scheme of cheating and fixing games, you know damn well that they would be spilling their guts to make a buck so that they wouldn't have to go back to the shitty run down car wash hat they are working at.
Sure Joe Flacco may get a cushy TV gig after he retires, but Travis Henry still can't pay the child support he owes for his 11 kids.
Was JaMarcus Russell in on the NFL football fixing too?
Think about it.Last edited by Kermit; 12-31-17, 02:44 AM.Comment -

#731Don't even get me started on that shit. Brazil? Brazil??? How about penetrating land of bad food and shitty weather, UK? How many times did Bisping get the shit beaten out of him over there and still come out with a victory? Almost all of them, seems like. Oh, and they do boxing, too. Anyways, in this case I think the judges gave Holm some credit for the effort is all.Comment -

#732Holly did exactly was she had to do. Cyborg really changed her style. Big patience and control. Shes more dangerous now.
Well, took a stab at Edson and some props, Calvillo and Holly and they lost. Edson and Holly are pure odds plays but Calvillo really dissapointed me. She needs to extremely work on her hands.
And I didnt bet Hooker. Bums me out.Comment -

#733Hey guys. I feel so sick cyborg and khabib won easy. If memphis or Louisville would have won i would have won over 10 grand last night. Lost 5 grand. Saved up for couple months and savings for tgis but got greedy and added two college football moneylines to the khabib cyborg parlays. Ibwould have won so much money. Finished the year down like 20 grand. Worst year ever. Parlays penetrate you so bad. Dont add other sports to ufc parlays. Cant trust other sports at all.Comment -

overall wins
Esparza
Hooker

#735decision fest last night, but some interesting scraps
smolka is to weak for the weight class, id suggest he packs some muscle on and move up tbh
khabib vs big ferg is what everybody needs to see
cyborg vs nunes is a very good matchup
esparza showed shes improved her standup slightly and Calvillo isnt at elite status
condit didnt look GREAT but he showed he still has some left for fun matchups
and myles jury looks like a solid top 10 prospect still would like to see him versus Yair or Ricardo lamasComment
