Being that neither of them have shit for striking, they'll probably look the same.
As you can tell from the picture of Curran, she doesn't even have hands.

When waiting on weigh ins I forget some of the details after picking a fight so I go back and re-read my post break downs and picks after weigh ins and yes that does help me win bets. I re-think and make new parlay plays as well.. My memory sucks when I'm constantly crunching info..
If and when I'm winning I also like to share my pics.. Back to that lady luck thing...

You are referring to the Rogan podcast with ryan parsons, and of course he is only going to have good things to say about her, he isnt going to say she's mediocre when he's invested in her

It was the things he was saying more then just praise itself. Barbie has weak stand up no respect from Torres. watched Curran drop a chick multiple times. the line is off and Vanzant is only 20. we have seen what happens when young fighters step into the octagon.

I think her strikes would demand more respect.
It will be a close fight but betting on VanZant is for dumb dumbs.
I will say less and post no more break downs on the fights anymore period on event threads.. I'M REALLY DONE!!! Back to paper and pencil breakdowns for this guy..
Let you pro's take over with the break downs of these fights.. Let's just see how mindful these event threads get??? I clearly see I am wasting my time posting fight break down information and posting up links to try and help some of you fools win bets.. Prop bet plays, etc... No one appreciates it.. I certainly don't do it for attention, I don't do it to win friends on this forum either.. I do it to try and win bets!!!
I don't see any of you fools trying to break down fights like I do.. Getlucky kiss my ass you contribute nothing, Areallycoolguy you can kiss my ass too!!! MD and Bumdeal absolutely nothing. Only quality posts I've seen on this thread are coming from guys like Imiltick and Mmead.. You guys don't even respond to them either..
Conclusion - most of you are bottom dwellers, leaches that bash and contribute nothing..A few forum regs that are ego driven maniacs that post mindless crap on their own personal threads just for pure recognition... Pathetic...
That's being honest as I've had enough... Like playing cards with a bunch of children as I always said..
This hurts my feelings.

True that, there is no other way to safe links than posting them on the SBR MMA subforum. If only those lazy cursed coding motherfukers google has would find a way.
^ I got heated..A little roid rage perhaps.. This forum sure brings out the worst in me at times.. Fight the power!!!
Bottom dwellers I officially apologize for my harsh comments...
With ya Jibbb. I think Frankie tries to mix in a lot of TDs. Standing I think it is fairly close fight with the fight ending ability much in Cub's favor. Frank probably wins via wrestling, but I like Cub by TKO/KO as a play. I don't see Cub pulling out a decision that many times in a win. Frankie has been in a bunch of 5ers, has the wrestling, cardio is great, strikes in volume (even though he was robbed vs. Bendo).

Is anyone on Edgar for this fight?
My fanboiiii affection for Frankie makes me want to but just cant do it!
Cub has legit power and the necessary speed and counter striking to hurt Frankie. Also Cub isnt exactly a small FW, and IMO Frankie will not take him down easily and if he does he I cant see him keeping him their for sustained periods (I think the wrestling/grappling factor could be the key variable in this fight - more on this further down). 25 mins is a lot of time for Frankie to have to avoid Cub's power and avoid getting dropped and in Cub he's facing a fighter that wont just be rooted to the spot like Sherk, BJ or Maynard, or even Ben Henderson and Jose Aldo to a certain extent who arent exactly fighters that are constantly circling and moving like Swanson does and arent as unpredictable and wild as Swanson. Guess what I'm trying to say is that in terms of movement Frankie is facing somebody for the first time that is somewhat close to his own style in that Swanson won't necessarily just stand in the centre of the cage and let Frankie run rings around him (a la the previous mentioned opponents like Sherk, BJ and Maynard). Combine that with fact that Swanson does have some legit power in his hands (unlike Charles Oliveira) and you've got a seriously interesting stylistic threat to somebody like Frankie.
At the same time, it can work the other way as well - Frankie in theory has the combination of cardio and durability required in order to be able to keep up with Swanson for 25 minutes and make it a close fight unlike some of Cubs previous opponents that some may of thought had a legit chance of causing Cub some problem like Pearson (decent cardio and pace-setting but prone to getting dropped), Poirier (tough, gritty, but too fight on quite short notice and lacked cardio to keep pressing Cub), Oliveira (obviously no way near Frankie's level of durability - plus had horrible weight-cut for Swanson fight), Lil Heathen (also very durable, but a plodder with just moderately decent cardio - certainly doesnt push a pace like Frankie tho).
The main thing that stands out as a difference however between Frankie and Cubs last string of opponents that he's gone through is the wrestling factor. IMO the last fight where Cub had be concerned about a legit wrestling threat was the Ricardo Lamas (which he ended up losing after getting choked out). Obviously before that he got dominated on the ground by Chad Mendes. Since then he has rattled off a 6 fight winning streak and although he has beaten a lot of solid guys, none of them IMO really offered the take-down threat like Frankie does (and Lamas didnt offer a big a threat as Frankie). Guys like Stephens, Siver, Roop, Pearson did not offer enough of a takedown threat to make Swanson hesitant about throwing his unorthodox taekwondo style kicks or over-committing to his strikes and being less elusive. With Frankie he is going to have to be more vigilant about the take-down threat as we know Frankie can with his impeccable movement, timing and tenacious style (combined with decent wrestling fundamentals from NCAA background) take most opponents down to the ground. Edgar is also one of the best in the business at catching leg/body kicks and countering with the takedown. This may well lead to Swanson adopting a less flashy style then he has previously and being more boxing orientated. We shouldnt rule out the possibility of Swanson ending up on top as well, as he showed against Poirier he can control opponents from top positions and take the back in an instant. Although I think he would be smart to try and mix in some takedowns of his own on Frankie, I doubt he will try as he will be extremely confident in his stand-up due to his run of wins and finishes. But that doesnt mean he cant get top position from a scramble if/when Frankie tries to take Cub down. Cub has amazing balance and superb hips - again as he showed against Poirier when he reversed a takedown attempt with a hip-toss. As good as Frankie's wrestling is I'd be very surprised if he did a Chad Mendes and took Swanson down repeatedly and kept him there - there should be a lot of scrambles in this as long as Frankie does initiate takedowns
Is there?! Another whimsical nonsensical comment from the JibbMeisterGeneral!
It's not like Frankie is a Conor Mcgregor type charater where everybody is raving about a guy who's only thought lower-tier journeymen and one mid-level guy! Where you aware that Frankie was the LW Champ Jibb? A division where he was undersized and permanently the underdog - i.e. never hyped up! And Swanson is the one who's being talked about as being guaranteed a title shot if he wins - not Frankie!

^^ I'm impressed with that write up V.. There is an MMA sports writer in ya yet...
I just like to keep it simple and say - Cub hits as hard as anyone in that weight division and has proven in the past that he has serious knock out power, flip side Frankie's chin has been exposed in many previous fights simply put.. Cub is also a strong finisher when he smells blood with all that being said..
Can't forget - Cub's wrestling has also shown improvement in recent fights and he himself could conceivably take down the smaller and shorter Frankie if he so chooses I believe..
Bad match up for Frankie going into this one from A to Z...

I cant disagree that Cub by TKO @ +550 may be the best value play.
Swanson +3.5 points handicap @ -115 is tempting as well
