    Pearson VS Maynard
Both have hands, and can throw them. but what do you guys think?

On maynard you would think maynard would win, but hes getting older and might not be in his prime.

Pearson has been improving technically. and hes from sunderland which makes him about 10x times tougher and more attractive to women.

    Thoughts?

Are we sure Maynard still has hands? He hasn't fought since November.

Lines just opened on 5D. Maynard -125.

            Pounded Pearson.

Pearson near -150 seems crazy. He wasn't looking so good vs Guillard before the no contest...and Guillard was his toughest fight since moving up (he should have gotten the nod vs Sanchez). I think Gray can land some punches and get some tds here. Gray is fighting the smallest, shortest reached guy he will have fought in a while. If it was a 5 rounder I would definitely worry about a Gray speed disadvantage in the later rounds but I think he can find a way to take a couple here. Close fight but I think Gray wins a decision.

does maynard remember he's a wrestler or does he wing slow as hell haymakers hoping to land that KO shot while getting boxed up by a more technical pearson?

Tough. You've got to go foremost by what a guy has done recently, and Maynard has looked almost out of it in the last couple outs. But those essentially came from getting blitzed by heavy hitters. The odds of Ross Pearson going ham are pretty much reliant on how much tard rage he has left over from the Diego Garcia heist.

All we can say here is that hands might or might not be thrown.

I don't consider any of the guys who KO'd Maynard recently to be heavy hitters, in terms of one punch power or power in general. Having said that, they all had hands and were throwing them so who knows. Maynard's chin is shot. No way to be able to confirm it but i reckon he's been sparing too aggressively for too long and it's catching up to him.

                              I'm with latarianmilton!

I agree with your assessment of this fight.. Gray will have a wrestling advantage also going into this one..

Maybe at welterweight, but next to Pearson they're tanks.
