I'm more excited about the potential holly holm vs jessica eye fight, i thought of matchup even before i read anything about it. on paper its basically a boxer vs a multiple world champion boxer, but thats on paper. jessica eye is tough and game, one of my fav female fighters for sure, hopefuly the fight happens.

Been such a run of events recently, 4 events per month since march and 5 in july, the next 3 weeks are going to be a bore since 176 got cancelled but the year finishes solid. 17 events in 18 weeks but another 3 week wait in october. I'm ready for 50+ events a year to come.


I remember this article from last year about helwani's 54 ufc events for 2014 tweet, then lorenzo saying in the 40s. Looks like right now they are on pace for 46 planned events this year with one of them being cancelled.
