    UFC 94 Post fight write up ( 5-0 )
    Clay Guida vs. Nate Diaz
    Pick – Guida - (Win)
Guida came in an underdog and proved he can compete tonight. Took Diaz out of his game, Diaz only strong points in this fight were his punching ability which before this I hadn’t seen much of. Guida was solid with good takedowns and reversals when Diaz kept trying to hit the switch on him with the kemora. I was impressed with Guidas improvement from his last fight and going up against a cocky 10-2 Diaz. You control the pace you’re going to win the fight. Guida looked gassed in the 3rd which was looking dangerous but halfway through turned it around a bit which gave him the edge.
Karo Parisyan vs. Dong Hyun Kim
    Pick – Parisyan (win)
I was hesitant to take Karo in this fight as the line kept moving down. A lot due to recent talk of panic attacks Karo was suffering. His mental toughness prevailed and he was able to get through the fight although I was not impressed. I didn’t know too much on Kim , but he impressed me in 1st round going right at Karo. In the 2nd Karo’s Judo skills prevailed and his throws wher very solid. Kim could have stole the fight in the 3rd but looked very timid and his effort from the firt just wasn’t there. Karo needs to get his head straight for the future.
    Jon Jones vs. Stephan Bonnar

    Pick – Jones – (win)

This was my top underdog pick of the night. Not to many of us knew of Jones before this fight. I had seen his previous 3 fights which he had impressed me on. Bonnar and his 15 month layoff is big in why I took Jones. Although Jones has only gone the distance once he fought through to the victory. Jones is going to be a force to reckon with, his throws were solid, which I think he needs to work on his ground game because he exerted a lot of energy tossing Bonnar around. As we saw in the 3rd Bonnar was sticking Jons pretty good but Jones is tough and watch out for him!
    Thiago Silva vs. Lyoto Machida

    Pick – Machida – (win)

Im sure a lot of you jumped on Silva because of the huge line he was getting. I expected this to go the distance. From the get go Machida dominated. A lot of people don’t like his style (the circling around) but I think its brilliant he trapped Silva numerous times right into his game plan and punished Silva. Silva had said he was going to go right at him and in this case not a good choice, 2 undefeated fighters and a nasty knockout at the closing of the round.
    Georges St-Pierre vs. BJ Penn

    Pick – St-Pierre – (win)

I don’t even think I need to do a post write up on this one. Total domination on GSP part. Penn did not look ready for this fight even though he was in probably his best shape ever and off a solid training. I was highly impressed with GSP and his wrestling. Penn is hard to take down and GSP just kept working it in there. In guard and out GSP dominated with strikes and gave Penn a brutal beating in rounds 2 3 and 4.
It will be interesting to see how Penn bounces back from this and a for GSP, He’s not going to be stopped for awhile.

I hope some of you followed me with my picks tonight as I went 5-0 cashing in on some great fights.
Total record at 19-3 now , so read up on m in the future, solid picks tonight.

LOL, yeah I just heard this blasphemy on Sherdog radio. Love the excuses, I heard someone say Penn blew out his knee in warmup and had a staph infection. Let the train of excuses begin.
