It would have been nice to know that Massenzio was injured before the fight!!!!!!! He limped into the ring with his leg in a huge brace! WTF!!!! Even so, I honestly think that Dollaway tapped when the guillotine went in!!! If you recorded it, watch it again!!!

Wanderlei might be done. He was out cold and twitching. Rampage did not look impressive at all though. Huge hook to drop Wandy, but still did not look good up to the point in my opinion.

I'm still not impressed by Kongo. Standing he can maybe take Mir. No chance against Lesnar.

Mir looked great. Awesome gameplan. He might have a good shot to take out Lesnar again.

Forrest looked good and won the first 2 rounds easily. He slipped during an exchange in the third and then Rashad got on top. Then Forrest got KTFO. Rashad was back to his showboating bullshit again. I hope someone takes him out quick because I hate that shit!

He didn't slip, leg kick got caught and Evans threw a straight right ala Anderson Silva. I knew Griffin didn't really have anything for evans. I hate his bullshit too, but the guy is a hard worker.

Griffin is a nice guy and a hard worker, but his chin has been suspect ever since Jardine tapped it.

this card really showed that there is a new age in MMA. The headlinner fighters that lead the way between UFC and Pride are no longer on top of the game beside Fedor

        Pride
        W Silva (done)
        Nogueira (done)
        CroCop (done)

        UFC
        Liddell (done)
        Couture (done)
        Tito Ortiz (done)

When i say done i don't mean there garbage as fighters. Just saying these were the dominant fighters before the Pride UFC merger and it looks like none of them will dominate the new UFC

Also it looks like Couture will face Nogueira some time in the future, at least that fight makes the most sense IMO.

Why did Rashad do a "kiss my dick" motion in the middle of his fight? I thought he was past those antics...apparently not.

Oh well..... We'll try, try again on the next one!

I completely agree with this post.

Don't forget that the UFC needs a new bad boy since Leben is now getting older. I believe that is why Dana White tolerated Junie Browning's incorrigible behavior on TUF.

                  I Mostly agree with you.

Silva - Needs to be smarter in his fights another KO loss i would say done.
NOG- He claims to be 32 but looks 50 years old, I would like to see how he comes back after this fight.
Crocop- Once the feared striker, has been horrible in the UFC and has not looked like the old school Cropcop, Being scared to fight Overeem or any good talent tells me he is done.

Liddell -Has been the same fighter for almost 10 years, He is 38 and has not changed up his gameplan. Im a fan but he is almost done.

Couture- I think he is overrated, great athlete butat age 45 dont know how far he can go. I kinda think he is looking for a few good pay days before he retires.

Tito Ortiz- Done he still thinks he is best in the world at 205lb,He isnt even one my top 20 at 205lb.

Yea Nog looks rough, Still can't believe after fighting guys like Fedor CroCop (in his Prime) Sylvia (striker big reach) Barnett, its fvkin Frank Mir that is the 1st to KO him

Seriously guys, how funny was the opening "you knee me in the balls, I'll knee you right back!" moment??

More importantly though, I layed it down big of Evans after a couple of nasty college losses earlier saturday so Evans' win was basically a life saver for me

Had griffin won I would probably be brooding until about March, but as it is, I really enjoyed that fight card. Solid action.

Also interestng to see who Get the 1st shot at Rashad. Postfight interview Rampage was asked if he was ready for a title sot again and he said yes but he'd prefer to fight Forrest. So Machida if he beat Thiago Silva should get the shot

Yes the payback nut-kneeing was pretty damn funny. And they couldn't find a bigger brutha to plant a knee in his baby balls. Ouch

That knee-to-the-nuts for a knee-to-the-nuts was classic! Betting on Kongo was solid. His experience in the octagon gave him a lot of confidence over that UFC rookie. The knee to the groin sparked a fire.

Wicked win for Evans and Mir. Cashed em both. Hedged half of my bet on Wanderlei though, I had a bad feeling that he'd get KO'd; Rampage looked too confident at the weigh-ins.

A prosperous UFC event! Lookin forward to seeing Hendo KO Franklin

I think Rampage will get it (UFC brushing off his request to fight Forrest first) or it'll be something stupid like Chuck or Randy getting the next shot (with them maybe having one fight first).

The only way Lyoto Machida gets it is if he dominates Thiago Silva in an exciting fashion. But damn, that could be one boring fight with Lyoto just dominating for five rounds. On the feet Rashad, will try to counter and fail miserably while getting picked apart. If he goes for the takedown, he'll get stuffed or swept. I don't see Machida losing, ever; too damn smart and too damn good.
