#4Scott Askham is a decent prospect, should be bigger than Deniston as well. He throws punches in bunches and has a mean uppercut, good knees in the clinch. May play him but he's took fight on short notice which is putting me off, also beaten a lot of bums who stepped in on short notice against himLast edited by Vaughany; 12-07-12, 11:44 AM.Comment -

#5Denniston weighed in at 187.9lbs as well despite not being the one takin it on short notice.

#9yeah Reis should probably be near to -150 based on his experience and level of competition he's faced. Roddy's home advantage is probably being exaggerated...can't help but think that if this fight was on undercard of Bellator in America or something then Reis would be -150 to -200 favourite.
Reis obviously is going to be the superior grappler, just his ability to take punishment/endurance and fighting away from Brazil/USA which is concerning. Roddy is the typical Irish fighter with lots of heart and grit, his determination and will to win may be the difference. I'd be concerned if Reis doesnt finish with a sub in first round. I'm just trying to find out more about Reis' preparation for this as I know he hasnt been at Alliance in a while. Need to watch the Gugerty fight again as well, if I rememeber correctly it wasnt exactly dominant and Gugerty took Roddy's back at least once but wasnt able to finish. Reis should be more clinical if he gets Roddy's back!
Interesting that 97% have picked Reis to win on tapologyLast edited by Vaughany; 12-07-12, 02:16 PM.Comment -

#10I believe an agreement has been reached with Skysports as well so that it can be streamed in UK for first time as well which is good. Supposed to be going to a Charity Event tho tomorrow nightMay have to pull a sicky!

#11Perhaps I'll stay away from Reis...
Several fighters failed to make weight, including co-main event competitorWilson Reis. The Bellator veteran weighed in at 140.2lbs for his bantamweight meeting with Owen Roddy. Reis opted not to cut any more weight so 40% of his purse will pass to Roddy.
Denniston Sutherland came in heavy at 187.9lbs for his middleweight bout against Scott Askham. Sutherland was still off the mark at 186.6lbs when he returned two hours later and therefore surrenders 25% of his purse to Askham.Comment -

#16Wilkinson is a very slick fighter, guy is a mini Kampmann. Johnston isn't exactly rock solid, so I'm making a Wilkinson play.Comment -
