Mayweather vs. Camacho in his prime..who wins?
I think both fighters have a similar approach in not getting hit. Camacho in his prime, fought some real tough guys like Mancini , Haugen, and Pazienza. Haugen was actually in a toughman competition. If any of you saw Hector's first fight, the split decision loss because of the point taken away, the referees were wrong in that Camacho did try to extend his hand and Haugen held back. Camacho was always booed but a real fan appreciates his style. Refused to get knocked down.

Mayweather doesn't have guys like Boom Boom Mancini or Julio Cesar Chavez coming after him. He was lucky to not fight in that era. Boxing had loads of guys with class like Mark Breland, Marlon Starling, Aaron Pryor (what a beast), and Alexis Arguello. I miss those CBS and HBO quality fights.

Mayweather is a winner, but far from an exciting fighter. Mancini would be in his face for uh....15 rounds!!!

Agreed, and I can't stand the guy. So damn cocky.... in my best Rampage voice.

A decision is a lock. What would the over/under be, 11 1/2 rounds? Mayweather would not have had a speed advantage or confidence edge, either. At least he ofter puts his hands in position to both lead of counter.
My question becomes, would Mayweather have been willing to take on a guy who figures to be an even match for him? What do you think?
