Yes, Kate Pierson. Very strong voice.

REM and B-52s both were based in Athens GA. They crossed paths quite a bit. You could see Michael Stipe in B52 videos etc.

    A few things:
    1) Don't beat yourself up. Anybody can be a Monday Morning Quarterback.
    2) I recommend watching the Jon Cursi videos that I've posted. If you believe Cursi's view on the periodicity, we should be approaching the TROUGH on the Cycle. Halving date = 367 days out.
    3) Who could predict the TIMING of the bank failures? Surely, that's the driver in recent days.

    It happens.

Months of boredom and losses can be quickly offset by days like today. That's when it's nice to have skin in the game.

like my dad holding gold though, yes it's worth more but that's only based on the fact that this country is turning to shit quickly

who cares if btc is worth 500,000 if everyone is starving to death and shooting each other

Sounds like "The Hunger Games", no?

Your dad is a smart man.

Demoralization is part of "war". Take the fight out of the opponent. Example: Tokyo Rose broadcasting to American soldiers that they were losing during WWII. Don't go there.

Some people won't believe unless they see it on TV. Can't do anything for those people. Normies. Zombies. The MSM is not your friend.

The idea is to get prepared. Be in a position to help yourself and as many as you can.

I can't see the trend slowing down in next 48 hours. 30,000 creased by Tuesday?

What will the news feed sound like on the banks on Mon/Tues? I would LOVE to hear another Yellen sound-bite.

Sounds like they (the banks) are getting bailed out. As they say, "money printer go brrrrrr". More inflation on the way, dollar gets weaker.

Probably why today isn't a moon day. Fear has been lessened. The FDIC is mostly broke, can't handle the load. Those that know, know what's coming....

Chucky, I think you're familiar with Greg Mannarino, right? I like him because he's a traditional finance guy but pro-crypto. You might like this 32 minute interview he had with Mike Adams on Brighteon. Adams is the owner of Brighteon - a free speech platform.

Mike, you're on top of it. Inflation to the moon. Numbers don't add up.

There is a significant upside to people getting used to higher prices, and low end wages needing to rise to meet those extra costs. As long as inflation does not get out of control.

Once the initial pain is over it results in a lot more cash turning over in the economy as low income earners spend all they earn, and it removes pressure on govt for farmer subsidies. There is a lot of small flow on advantages in increasing the average cost of goods and the average level of wealth.

Honestly, I think USA is not using it's great advantage as a rich country by acting like BDFs about everything from your cheap gas to your super cheap subsidized food.

If you were all willing to forget raw costs and not complain like the sky is falling if anything rises, you would find that wages rise to meet the higher costs for almost no change in net buying power. And that would see you end up needing less welfare and less law enforcement if only goods could be sold at similar prices to other rich first world countries.

    From today's CryptoCompare newsletter:

Florida Governor Calls for CBDC Ban

Florida Governor and potential Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has proposed legislation prohibiting the use of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) as money within the state.

The proposal would also bar the use of a CBDC issued by central banks outside of the United States in Florida. DeSantis says the move is meant to protect Florida consumers and businesses from the “reckless adoption of a ‘centralized digital dollar’ which will stifle innovation and promote government-sanctioned surveillance.”

In a statement, DeSantis also called on other states to adopt similar legislation. DeSantis’ proposed legislation also seeks to address privacy concerns and protect the role of community banks and credit unions.

The move comes after President Joe Biden issued an executive order in 2020, directing the federal government to study the potential uses and risks of a CBDC.
Crypto is a "threat" to a government CBDC. A CBDC is a threat to freedom and privacy.

When the economy is in shambles, milk is $25/gal and your 401K has gone in the crapper, it's not too hard to imagine the government coming along and saying, "Hey, sign right here and we can recover most of your assets". CBDC's, digital ID's and medical passports - all bad ideas meant to enslave the tax cattle.
