I know very little about bitcoin and have a couple of basic questions.

1. I now have an account with Gemini so can I transfer directly to sportsbook from this account if I buy bitcoin.
2. If I request a payout can it go directly into my Gemini account?

Best to use a go-between wallet. The sticky in this forum will tell you how to set up a blockchain.info wallet (web wallet) but any wallet will do.

For desktop, I like Exodus. www.exodus.io

There's phone app wallets if you want to go that route. I see the Edge wallet mentioned a lot though I've never used it.

Youtube should have plenty of tutorials for beginners on how to use the various wallets and how to make a buy/send/receive on Gemini....
