I want to get a bitcoin withdrawal from a sportsbook and it says you can use any of the popular payment protocol compatible wallets in the attached list to pay a Bitpay invoice. It then has a list of wallets like bitpay wallet or bitcoin.com wallet.
I am confused why it appears I have to pay a Bitpay invoice to receive bitcoins. And why would i pay a Bitpay invoice when I am the one requesting bitcoins be sent to me?
Why can't i just provide my blockchain.com bitcoin address to get a payout?
If i need to open a Bitpay wallet, do i need to provide personal information to do this?
If I open a Bitpay wallet to receive the bitcoins from the sportsbook, can I just transfer from the bitpay wallet to my blockchain.com bitcoin address or does it require some personal verification before allowing this?
