Scared of Bitcoin

I posted this in the newbie forum but then saw this forum so I will post it again…


To be honest I'm scared of getting Bitcoin, but it seems the way to go for betting online as most books don't take ************ anymore. I don't know how many years ago it happened, but one day everyone that had Bitcoins got completely wiped out. I don't know much about Bitcoin so has something changed where this won't happen again?

If you just want to use bitcoin to transfer money to and from bookmakers, then you really don't need to worry too much about that angle. As you rarely own any bitcoin for more than half an hour or so. And it's not so volatile that you need to be stressing about price flcutuations over that period.
