Any other good exchanges besides Coinbase?
I have to wait a few days for my limits to go rise so I can buy bitcoins again with my card on coinbase..

Was just wondering if there are any other exchanges that accept USA people where you can buy coins with your card and its instantly in your account, that's user friendly and easy verification, if so, what kind of verification?

    Bitstamp.com
    Coinmama.com
    buy.bitcoin.com

All more expensive than coinbase for card buys though.

I have drove good-guy OPT crazy..trying to fix my BTC problem.

Well, I only assume I have but he should be well on his way toward the paddy-wagon by now. Me, I already driving the thing, thanks to CB and my lack of knowledge about buying and sending Bitcoins.

OPT. has been exceptionally patience with me and offering a lot of Bitcoin info. However, it's like learning a foreign language for me. And I am not moving along to fast that is for sure.

At the present: My problem: I have, apparently, Bitcoin-cash trapped into 2 different, already sent, regular Bitcoin addresses?
Those two 2 Book receivers will not accept my Bitcoin-cash, I just found out! Well, that's nice to hear after weeks of pulling my hair out, trying to get those Bitcoins sent the normal way. So, I looked at an ad on CB, promoting how simple bitcoin-cash was and promptly bit on that hook, by converting to BTC , then sending all those funds to two regular Book Bitcoin addresses.

No luck. And OPT and I have worked our fannies with this newly discovered problem. It was bad enough before this last major headache, wondering why--for 3 weeks, those BTC's did not arrive after the were verified and sent completely authorized from CB with no problems on their end at all.
No, today, I find the problem, now, is like I said [Do they warn our poor brother's of this catastrophe]...?

*Neither of these two receiver Book's accepts BTC Bitcoins! Wow! Nice to know after all these weeks of waiting and confusion.
Any member ideas before I continue driving further down the suicide road?

Well that's good news and bad news Abe.

At least that makes some sense what has happened now, I think.

Your whole post is kind of confusing though. I assume when you are writing BTC you mean BitcoinCash?

BTC is actually the trading symbol for Bitcoin. BitcoinCash is BCH. I doubt anyone in the world apart from me is able to even start to guess what you are asking above it is so confusing with the mixing up Bitcoin and BitcoinCash. I only have a partial grasp on all you are saying in that wall of words myself.

        I'll try and put the problem more simply and you tell me if this sounds right;

Each type of coin uses it's own wallet format. When depositing you have to get the correct type of receive address from the book.

If you send BitcoinCash (BCH) to a books Bitcoin (BTC) wallet address it won't work. And this sounds like what you have done.

Bookmaker, Heritage and Bovada all accept BCH deposits and withdraws but if you click on deposit BTC and send your BCH to that wallet address it wont work.

I do not think I am going to be able to walk you through fixing this as I am not 100% sure exactly how to honestly.

Have you spoken to Coinbase on the phone as yet? I think that is probably the only way to get this straight now.

          This is correct below.
"If you send BitcoinCash (BCH) to a books Bitcoin (BTC) wallet address it won't work. And this sounds like what you have done."
And guess what; not one of the three above Books I sent to..

            Ugh.

Has anyone at Coinbase or the books suggested how to fix this yet?

These people cannot be reached. They keep claiming how swamped they are, as does Blockchain.
I did sent a request for help to CB but expect a reply no time soon about this prob.

Support from a phone call is impossible and they even want to be bothered by this method of any help request.

A couple of other posters have said it does take about an hour on hold to get through to Coinbase phone support, but once you do they are awesome and will ring you back to follow up things or make sure you are happy etc.

I wish i could be more helpful :\

Okay, thanks again. I will have to consider doing that but all I have is a cell and I hate waiting on my cell for lengthy times, but, what choice do I have?
Do you want my gift of 100 points?

Thanks Abe, but just pay it forward sometime. ;-)

I don't really feel like I have been much help anyway.

Hope you find out how to get those coins back. I am sure it can be done.

Back to work on Bitcoins and such. I will now try again to get some relief from this frustrating business of dealing with Bitcoin buying/selling. Wish me luck.
                        * OPT., paid in full, and, you're no doubt, worth more.
