Bitcoin Network Is One Rigged Sh#$hole Today Fellas

Had my transaction initiated around 12:30 PM with only 10,000 unconfirmed.

It's now around 3:30 PM..... and look at this inconsistent crap.

Network was fine at 12:30 PM.....

It's like they intentionally delay your transaction..... and watch the Bitcoin decline. Such horse sh#$.

    Absolute rigged sh#$hole...

I did one yesterday and I chose the priority option and it cost me a buck and was almost instantaneous. I have learned to chose priority when it is possible.

I had one sent to me today at 12:15PM EST with only 4000 unconfirmed transactions. It was sent priority and still not confirmed. Crazy.

I always send priority. When I am sending 2,000, I don't care about a dollar vs how much I could lose if the price tanks.

Problem is priority changes. Priority was 86 sat/b when network was at 4000 unconfirmed this morning. Now it's pending and priority if sent now is 200 sat/b.

              Sent Bitpay 2k

              Blockchain fees $0.02

Took 5 Hours 2 minutes to confirm once.....

Bitpay took the hit on it...

All you have to do is spend $1 for a transaction fee and it will be confirmed in 30 min.

But yeah, better to save the $1

And they do delay your transaciton if the fee is too low

I think it's all luck. I have been using 5 cent fees lately and confirmation in about 10 minutes. I'm not paying these guys more money if it confirms just as fast. Worst case is I wait a few hours. No big deal. When you do 25 transactions a day those high fees add up.

I'm starting to think it's luck also. I did a $.05 transaction fee yesterday, took 2 hours to get 3 confirmations. Today I did the same fee, it took 7 minutes to get 3 confirmations.

Exactly. There really is no need to pay these guys $5 a transaction fee when you can pay 5 cents. I guess unless you need the money guranteed within a few minutes. But even then with a high fee it's never guranteed. It's kind of like playing the lottery with these transactions. And wouldn't it be great if everyone used a 5 cent fee. Then there would be no delayed transactions. The miners would have no choice which one went through first. I really wish people would stop paying the high fees.

When I initiated to send Bitpay 2k and got the address.... they give you the exact amount to send it Bitcoins...

When Bitpay finally received that exact amount of Bitcoins... it was only worth $1,969.42

Bitpay still credited my crd 2k. They took about a $30.58 loss.

This is one of the reasons why books need to support other altcoins, there are some out there with near-instant transactions and fees that are a fraction of a penny. Gotta have some competition or we'll just see more price-gouging on the fees and poor service, besides that it's just safer to have multiple options.

BetOnline takes LiteCoin for deposits but I wish they would also offer it for withdrawals.

i sent bitcoin to blockchain 2 hrs ago, and still not in wallet. I thought this was supposed to stop after the fork. They need to fix this. It should be instant from coinbase to wallet

I received a payment from a book and I believe the fees were around $1.80

I sent the same funds somewhere else... fees were around $0.03

They were both confirmed on the same block. Which was really odd.

Sort of tells me the network is stalling transactions intentionally.

Who knows how they pick and choose which ones to confirm first?

Yeah I just cannot figure out bitcoin system, the bitcoin prices, etc. Its easy to use, but a lot does not make sense most of the time.

Its basically like playing the lottery. You could have a .03 fee for a transaction that could take 5 minutes or 16 hours. You could have a 3$ fee for a transaction and it could take 5 minutes or 16 hours. The whole thing sucks. I just wish they used a 25 cent fee for all transactions and stop this b.s. with accepting certain transactions over others. This is not going to work if bitcoin wants to be a major system in money transfers. How can they compete with regular debit cards that take seconds to process? Even ** and ** are faster.

Needed two transactions to go through yesterday relatively fast... spent around $1.29 in fees for each.

Both confirmed in 8 minutes. Probably overpaid my a$$. Some of these pricing charts aren't working consistently like they use to.

                                            Sort of sucks.
