Does anyone use ONLY BTC Books?
I've been having so many credit card fraud issues when depositing into books that I am looking into switching to solely Bitcoin books. Thinking about Nitrogen and Directbet. Any other suggestions? Only thing I am worried about is the volitilty in the value of bitcoin. You could be holding $1800 worth one day and the next day its $1700.

I use, and like a lot, Nitrogen. If you don't mind parimutuel betting, OneHash has an (attainable) 100% initial deposit bonus.

I haven't tried them yet myself, but I gather from lurking in the Nitro chat room that opinion on the #2 best BTC only sportsbook is divided between Cloudbet (with an unattainable initial deposit bonus) and Betcoin.

As to the currency risk, for me it's the opposite: since Bitcoin's overall trajectory is (knock on wood) up, I dislike having to exchange my BTC for dollars. I sent a pretty big BTC deposit to 5d a month ago when NBA and NHL playoffs began. I got my dollars at $1250 and a payout last week into an $1840 exchange rate. I actually would've made more money just doing nothing and watching bitcoin go up than I did hustling my butt off in the early rounds. Ah, well. C'est la vie.

One thing I DO dislike about the BTC only books is having to place your bets in the decimal hell of bitcoin. "I want 0.06132 BTC on GS - 13," etc. There's not even a handy dollars to BTC converter on the sites.

          Hey, congrats on the win!

But, y, BTC only books are the only place where you can accidentally bet 10 times what you meant to and maybe not even notice it. Those sites need a BTC to Dollars converter added to their betslips. I mean, the bet can stay in BTC, but there should be a calculator built in where I can just type "100" into the dollars side and the conversion gets auto done into BTC for confirmation, or something.

I remember it opening a couple of years ago as an exchange but never heard much about it ever again.

                  Whats the volume like?

I learned of them on Twitter as they have active account. They offer some US horse racing like betfair which got my attention but volume looks moderate to low...I have not tried wanted to see if you or raiders had any info on them before I gave a shot.

I think they turned up around the same time Fairlay did but being exchanges and bitcoin it was all a bit much new stuff all at once for either to get any traction with Americans.

I think the first time I looked at them the major prop featured on the front page was when the next big bitcoin hack would be. I think I decided at that moment that whoever owned it must be either under 20 years old and/or just too stupid to run a business, so never looked at it again. So not surprised betbtc went nowhere personally.

I like betting exchanges so when I saw your post I went over to betbtc and had a look around. Cool concept, but it seemed way, way too quiet for a healthy exchange. Very few sports covered, with very few bids/asks in the events they did have markets on.

But if you start playing there and it turns out to be healthier than I thought, if you could post back about it or send me a DM, then I'd definitely owe you a beer -- I'd love to find a healthy bitcoin exchange book. They're usually fun for non sports related betting (politics, TV shows, next movie star to enter rehab, w/e)

SBR's system keeps Banning me for using a VPN (what sports sharp doesn't need a VPN?), but during one of those times I stumbled upon an interesting looking exchange style, p2p, BTC site that looks kinda fun: https://www.betmoose.com/

I opened an account there; I'll report back if there's enough action to make it worth folks' while.
