bitcoin unconfirmed for nearly 36 hours

Requested a payout from Betonline.ag Tuesday morning around 930 a.m. EST. It hit my bitpay account nearly 3 hours later (Which is normal and appreciated) The issue I have come across is my bitcoin transaction has been unconfirmed ever since. I have never had to wait this long for a transaction to be confirmed. I have read about low transaction fees being the culprit for unconfirmed transactions, so is betonline.ag just being cheap with their fees? Any ideas on how to expedite the process?

I bought BTC on April 30th via ACH and I was supposed to clear Monday.5/8 It cleared about ten minutes ago. So it will clear just not as prompt as we are used to
