    Baseball parlay dispute
Hello all. It's my first time posting on this site and I'm hoping for some clarification and advice. I placed a baseball parlay wager in person at the Borgata in NJ (BetMGM). Below is the bet:

    4/11/2025: Guardians -1.5 +(170), Reds -1.5 (+120), Astros -1.5 (+150), Padres -1.5 (Even), Yankees -1.5 (+145)

4 of the 5 were winners. The Yankees-Giants game, however, was called after 5 1/2 innings because of rain. The Yankees lost the game 9-1, so if it was a moneyline wager, then I understand it would have been a loss. However, because it was a run-line wager, my understanding is that the game needed to go at least 8 1/2 innings. Since it did not, that bet should have been void on the ticket as far as I can tell. I placed the exact same bet on Fanduel and that was the case. I realize that sportsbooks have different house rules, but that does not appear to be the case here. Below is from BetMGM's website on baseball:

    Minimum Length of Play
Pre-Game Wagers: Unless otherwise stipulated in individual Baseball sports wager rules, wagers on baseball money lines are official after 5 innings of play. If the home team is leading, the game is official after 4

Problem solved. The director of the sportsbook just emailed me. They graded the game incorrectly. Thank you.

That run line should be void if the game ended after 5.5 innings. Contact BetMGM support with their rule info.

Glad to hear it was sorted out in the end. Always good when the book does the right thing.
