Thanks for the post Bumpy. I had to work an assignment in Baton Rouge for a few months years back, and couldn't believe how rowdy the locals were. It was like a bunch of wild animals with insane tolerances for liquor. You just ensured that I stay away from Louisiana for another couple of years at least lol

As for the game, I can't call it either way. I've pondered the game for awhile, and just don't have a great feel for it. Gun to my head I take LSU and lay the points, as Arkansas is entirely too error prone and LSU should be able to score at will. I hate to see anyone need a bet this bad, but I wish you and your uncle Devereaux good luck....

I would say loose the break ins and probably can the weed pushing too. Run a 3 card monty game to make up for the lost revenue.

You can never trust Ark in these big games. I like LSU's defense to take away Ark's running attack and then what do they have? I like the Under but if I had to bet the game id probably go with LSU.

that was my Escalade you boosted at Lauberge du Lac in Lake Charles and yes I spelled the hotel name correctly. I think you should take Arkansas and up the price of weed to $80/ounce and try pushing some of the harder stuff. Coke, cheese, heroin, etc. You can get your margins up and increase the average cost of your sale. As a follow up I would take down the addresses of the big buyers and rob then in their sleep. Lastly I would take bricks and tie them to your legs and in the case LSU loses drop the bricks over the side of the boat and count to 50 backwards which should take you about an hour......

good stuff, although i'm not sure they made Escalades back in '91. further, at that point in time i believe that the land upon which the Lauberge du Lac was eventually constructed was probably either a.) swamp/bayou or b.) some sort of chemical storage facility as is much of the rest of Lake Charles.

So I just turned 16 and they caught me one night after I boosted this sweet Escalade from a stupid tourist with Arkansas plates at the LaBerge in Lake Charles and they wouldn’t of caught me if I hadn’t had to pull over and take a leak behind a tree at a house all the way back in Lafayette that night that the cops just happened to be watching for crack dealing brothers. Just my luck they find the $800 or so of cash and gun I used when I held up the liquor store south of Crowley. All that happened in 1991 and I spent most of the next 15 years in St. Gabriel and Uncle Devereaux was right about there being some bad folks at Hunt. Bad folks. I got out about a year ago and they made me do 90 days in a halfway house that was just more of the folks from Hunt who got out so that was a bad scene and I sort of went AWOL one night and been hanging down in New Orleans picking up some good coin working some construction. Living in this dump though over just on the edge border between Algiers Point and Algiers and let me tell you there are some nasty things going on in Algiers. But there is this one good crawfish joint that aint’ had a shooting in maybe 30, 40 days now and that is a good thing. Been staying clean for the most part except for pushing some weed to the yuppies in Algiers point and the occasional break-in to steal their liquor and cash laying around after I sell the weed to them.

So what do you think I should do should I bet with this local laying LSU -13 right now, take the Tigers -115 or the Razorbacks and the points +105?

Funny you mention that. When I was living with Aunt Beth and Uncle Devereaux as a kid they already had a kid who was my 2nd cousin or something like that. Earline was nearly 6 years older than me and she wound up being my first babysitter and my first girlfriend which is kind of sick when you think we were sort of like brother and sister like but we really weren’t so it’s not to sick. But my Aunt Beth was a absolute saint and the best person in my life except for maybe the drinking part and even then it was fun on account she used to sneak me beers and take me go cart racing when I was 12 before I got put in the Wade unit in Homer and she’s the one who taught me to drive, like down to Skippy’s Spirits over on West Congress. She even let me use her car a lot when I got my license later after I turned 16 even though her car was a piece of sh¡t 1982 Granada. So Earline, who was named for my Uncle Devereaux but he was just Earl and not Earline. I always thought Uncle Devereaux had the best names of all, Earl Dutch. He was named for his dad and mom and that really freaked me out until I found out that Earline was the mom’s name and then it made more sense. Earline, my sort of sister not my Uncle Devereaux's mom, was home from college her freshman year I am pretty sure cause I know I was still 13, but I came back from Skippy’s with Aunt Beth and Earline waited until Aunt Beth passed out and then stole the rest of that half gallon of Southern Comfort and mixed it with Sprite and got me drunk. So maybe the first two times that happened it was rape, but after that it was consensual statutory let me told you that right now brothers. Earline had some big time hooters and that was one fun summer. She had this one friend from the college in Baton Rouge named Yolanda who was a little bit high-yellow meaning she was either black or dark Italian on one side of her coonass mix and I think she and Uncle Devereaux got involved at one point because I remember driving Aunt Beth down to Skippy’s more often after the Christmas holidays with Earline brought Yolanda home and Aunt Beth was real pissed about something then but I can’t be to sure about all of that on account of me huffing a bit around then.

I think I'm going to take LSU on Friday minus the -13 points.
