    soccer question
why would a book put up lines such as these......
    ml -360
    -1 1/2.... - 135
    -1 3/4.... - 105

    why would anyone give 1 1/2 -135 when you can get - 105 for 1 3/4?

the -1.5 means if the team wins by 2, you get a full stakes win at -135

the -1.75 essentially is half your bet at -1.5 -105, and half at -2 -105. So if the team ends up winning by 2. You get a half stakes win on your -1.5 -105 bet, and a push on the -2 -105. Hence the lower juice.

makes no sense to me...... why would you pay the -135 when the only way you can win is if your team wins by 2. so just give the goal and 3/4

because if you take the -1.75 and they win by 2, only half your bet wins, the other half is a push.
