Looks like a slow start for Team World & Team Canada

That is why everyone says this isn't fair. It is quite clear there is way more people playing from the USA than Canada and the world. I for one would have no problem playing along side someone from the other side of the world so why not just make it the top 48? Top 12 next 12 next 12 next 12. That would even end the argument "You are only on top because you play everyday"

that reminds me of something that cracked me up....bookbraker used to have the name of his business as his poker name on bookmaker and some random dude from the site called his house in the middle of the night cursing out for giving him a bad beat

That's quite a statement. It's only been one day, many of our guys probably haven't even played yesterday. It's obvious who the top dog is - again - but let's not rule out the possibility of an upset before the Fat One sings. I wish the finals was a one day event with each player only going once instead of 4 times (think NFL playoffs style rather than 7-game series of NBA and MLB) but this will have to do. And I will specifically beat blackbart into pulp just like I did last year.

sam9ball, could you also please comment on the situation with Thomas Luther aka sniper2006? Is there a chance he'll play for Team World this season?

Last year this promo had been running for a month and half before they had six players......

They don't listen, they don't care. It took FOREVER for them to bring back the 9pm. They just go through the motions. After this will probably be a championship that runs for 5 months. Same stuff, no change at all. Disregard the fact that someone with ~300 points made Team Canada last year.

Have been tons of good suggestions for ways to make it better, such as having the top 4 be captains and then pick from the top 48, but no, just stick to the samething instead of taking an extra 5 minutes to come up with a new idea. It's a joke.

it is going to be a long qualifying, and many players like Braceman, Aggies, Imac, Beerdog, Millertime, etc etc, will make the team. so the 12 right now are almost guaranty, as per me, is a good maybe, .
10,000 points looks good.

In past years some members of World team qualified for final by playing and cashing in a couple tourneys on the last week of play. I think one year someone signed up the last of week of play and qualified.

If you are a US member if you miss one week of play it is impossible to qualify.

Dear friend: I agreed, however, team canada has won as well as team world or europe ?when there was no confed team; when SBR incorporated the second USA team, you were able to win something.
It is also a fact that USA has 24 players, where I say the top 10 are the best SBR players by far.
