As far as I know the NHL system is identical to the NBA system, play any team going on a 3 game road trip against the other conference. But its like baseball where if your team is fav you bet moneyline, if they are dogs buy the puck line +1.5

I just re-read the pdf, you are correct on everything except it's not a conference-based system. It's a road team with 3 consecutive away games, division/conference don't matter. That's the criteria. That and they can't be the best or worst road team.

Now, if I could only find an excel sheet for the schedule!

System is posted in the above link. Post # 6 has the excel sheet for schedule. System hasn't been doing good so far.
