FanDuel Sportsbook — one of our best sports betting sites — strengthened its North Carolina market presence on Monday with the announcement that the North American betting heavyweight is prime to become an Official Sports Betting Partner of the NFL's Carolina Panthers.

It is said to be a multi-year partnership deal and comes at a critical time in the impending North Carolina betting market. The legal North Carolina sports betting scene gets underway on March 11, with the pre-registration window already open in the Tar Heel State.

FanDuel North Carolina can be downloaded as of last Friday on iOS, Android, and desktop.

The Carolina Panthers were curiously one of the only remaining Tar Heel State sports teams or venues without a sportsbook affiliation. FanDuel North Carolina also has a partnership deal with the PGA Tour.

"We are thrilled to welcome FanDuel as an Official Sports Betting Partner," said Kristi Coleman, Carolina Panthers president. "As we look ahead to the 2024 season, we're excited about the opportunities this partnership presents to deliver unique and engaging experiences to our fans while they are in North Carolina."

What FanDuel gets

FanDuel sportsbook gets a second skin in the much-anticipated North Carolina market. It now partners with the PGA Tour and the state's most popular sports team. Exposure is key in any new market in the U.S., and that is an integral cog in the FanDuel/Panthers tie-up. FanDuel will surely be among the most popular North Carolina sports betting apps.

FanDuel also gains the typical right to use Carolina Panthers team logos and marks. Valuable signage in and around the Panthers' home, Bank of America Stadium, is included in the deal, as is a strong presence on all Carolina Panthers media outlets, including TV, radio, and social media.

FanDuel Carolina will kick off itss partnership in style by hosting Kay Adams and her FanDuel TV broadcast "Up and Adams" at Bank of America Stadium Wednesday, March 6.

"Bringing FanDuel to sports fans across North Carolina is an important moment for our business, and we are thrilled to be able to work with the Carolina Panthers to introduce their fanbase to America's #1 Sportsbook," said Mike Raffensperger, Chief Commercial Officer, FanDuel. "We look forward to supporting the team next season and to engaging the passionate sports fans across North Carolina with our product."

In anticipation...

FanDuel is giving new customers to America's #1 sports wagering platform a pre-registration Bonus opportunity. The company is offering $100 in Bonus Bets to use when North Caolina's sports wagering scene goes live March 11, although many North Carolina sportsbook promos will be available to residents.

Also, $200 in Bonus bets will be made available to new users that wager at least $5 with their first ever bet with the platform on March 11.
