FanDuel is keeping its word to keep evolving as one of the country's top legal online gambling destinations, and it's already one of our best sports betting sites

This week alone, it announced a new channel going live on its cable TV network, FanDuel TV, and a chance for bettors in the New Jersey sports betting to play and interact with former NFL star Rob Gronkowski at FanDuel Casino’s Live Dealer studio.

FanDuel TV Extra will be coming to streaming services, including Pluto TV and The Roku Channel, and will be available on FanDuel TV+. On Thursday, May 16, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET, Gronk will offer a chance to play online roulette at the Fanduel NJ online casino.

More on the TV angle

FanDuel TV Extra is a free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel. It aims to give its clientele more live sports than any other FAST channel available and a wider variety of international sporting options, including international hoops action, international soccer, and darts.

The new FanDuel TV channel will feature half of its daily coverage in live sports action. Original FanDuel content, such as studio shows Up & Adams and Run it Back, will also be featured.

FanDuel TV Extra is the latest example of a U.S.-based online gambling provider attempting to cover as many bases as possible while continuing its quest to become an omnichannel goliath in the American market. If you want to check out the sportsbook behemoth, make sure to use our FanDuel promo code.

“Launching ‘FanDuel TV Extra’ was another important step in expanding distribution for FanDuel TV content and reaching new audiences. Our research showed a large portion of our target audience already consume content on FAST,” explained FanDuel TV Executive Producer and SVP Kevin Grigsby. “We plan on continuing to invest in the reach of ‘FanDuel TV Extra’ by adding it to other top FAST providers in the near future.”

Playing with Gronk?

FanDuel Casino in New Jersey will be offering users a chance at playing alongside and interacting through the site's messaging option with former NFL star Rob Gronkowski.

On Thursday, May 16, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET, real money online casino patrons in the New Jersey market can sign in on their iOS or Android device and join Gronk at a roulette table while messaging him in real-time.

Mobile casinos have been gaining in popularity and provide users with a Vegas-like casino experience from their mobile devices while giving online casino providers a nice added revenue stream to complement sports betting platforms.

Live Dealer options have been growing in scope and growing in popularity. FanDuel is taking a chance to not only promote such options on its site, but it also is giving users a chance to interact with a retired NFL superstar in real time.

For those in the New Jersey market that already boast a FanDuel account, users will just need to head to the Live Dealer Lobby, click "Play Now" in order to join the game.
