They always set lines like this to stimulate large wagering when you have two names in a pick em situation. If that's what you meant by the reason he was set as a slight favorite, I concur it was set for back and forth play.

Im down with calling tennis line movement stupid and ridiculous but it isn't always meaningless. Im not critiquing you or your play EP.. I am on dolgopolov as well because I thought he would win, that simple. i think its important to discuss/argue/analyze line movement on some matches and not just pass it off as irrelevant i mean i think thats the whole point of this subforum to discuss shit like this. not just keep records and troll people's threads and opinions. were all trying to make money here.

Whichever way they set it, money would go to the dog IMO. If for some reason, they put Dolgopolov as the slight fave, line gets hammered by the people who love Tsonga or know the name. Today, people go for Dog because they say he's not that much worse if at all than Tsonga.
