Default Ber105 No Canceling of Wagers!

Be advised they will not cancel any wrong wagers like Heritage. Actually they are saying they are not Heritage interestingly.

Here is the response I got.

“We are completely independent from Heritage. They do provide some services or support for us. But we are a completely different company. In regards to this we don’t follow or have the same rules that they do. This is one of the thing we just don’t do. We ask management for an answer to your question even though we already knew what the answer was. Deleting wagers is something that we are not contemplating at this moment. We are not sure if in the near future it will change. But for now you have to be extremely careful when packing them. Since we don’t delete wagers. “

Honestly I never saw this rule on their site and they were not able to point it out either.

Interesting. Just giving info.

I selected a golfer that was above the one I wanted. Odds where exactly the same. I emailed right away. Obviously you can’t call anybody.

Sure it’s my fault for not looking closing upon confirmation. Heritage was and is very good about cancellation of wagers.

Just be real careful when placing bets on the phone. Especially if your eyes are bad as mine. Lol

They replied regarding posting no cancellation on bets. Stating They agreed with me regarding it being posted. They will forward my recommendation to management.

Ok Good.....

I hope the bugs get removed and expect this to be a great out.

Ah that would be frustrating when you're looking at a brand new UI for the first time. As much as people don't like Bet365 for their limiting and other shenanigans, I appreciate that you can almost always cancel a wager easily, through the web UI, without any penalty.

Tough spot here. Mistakes cost us money.

Problem with email is there's no guarantee of anyone getting it so they might have to make that policy.

There's no chat anywhere on the site?

How soon did they respond to your email?

Hertiage was putting the next day's games first on the reduced juice site. I bet they got hit with many wrong bets...lol.

It's true, they are not Heritage they are run independant of Heritage but they are within the Heritage Sports umbrella of sorts. That's why they say Heritage "provides some services or suport for us" but you can't consider them Heritage -105, they got rid of that for bet105 to take over.

I'm concerned about the accessibility of customer service, though. Even if I rarely use it.

Good Luck with getting it deleted.

This prepared statement means nothing. Almost every sportsbook which has spun up clones tries to pretend they're separate. It limits their liability and prevents customers from being able to play them against each other, like you did here (to be clear, I'm not saying you did anything wrong).

Yeah, I'm sure that Heritage just offered to give it's client list to a completely separate company with different controlling parties. And then they offered to transfer funds out of their book and into the other. Out of the goodness of their hearts! LOL

Long standing rule with future bets there. I would not expect that to change.

I've fought that good fight, for a long, long time, and it never did change.

It's a fairly ridiculous rule, but one you can live with as long as it's displayed prominently on the odds pages. Instead, it's buried in their rules. Weak.
