Here is the e-mail i got from them . Looks like they do not like SBR too much.

Actually I just saw your last thread at sbr. I have decided we are going to take a pass on your business. It seems you will more of a distraction from what we are trying to accomplish here. Which is to provide great service for our clients. We do not need or want the negative attention yoh are helping to create at sbr. We know what we can handle and I told you that you had my word about our agreement. Yet for some reason you keep going to that joke of a watch dog site for them to give you advice. Good thing you were not around for betislands. We would not be having this talk because they would have led you into the poor house. Feel free to post this. I wish you the best of luck where ever you decide to play. Thanks no hard feelings

Keep in mind they called Me asking me to deposit there more then once. I would have probably given them a chance because really i did not see that much negativity on here about them . But to drop someone because they go onto a public forum asking for peoples opinions. I am glad this happened before i deposited there . I will be putting my $500 elsewhere .

That is what i thought but apparently because i asked about them i am not welcome there. I never asked to join there. I joined the site and saw the limits were way too low for me. So the guy called and left me 2 messages asking me to deposit. So i came on here as i always do when i want to check on a site i am not sure about and wanted to see if anyone was ever shafted by them.

He wanted to make sure that he had already given me his word. Ok that does mean something but really i do not know who the hell this guy is and i was looking to deposit $500. The only risk is the one i am taking i am the one sending the money. To turn around and drop me because i was on this forum and act like i should just have taken his word is pretty stupid and a shitty thing to do.

I can see if i am on here saying negative crap on them like i do about Betmania . But Betmania deserved it and if someone was jilted by 1V i wanted to know. Sure-i do not trust everything said on here 100% -but if there are a lot of people saying the same thing about a book odds are it is most likely true.

No offense captobey, I really don't undertand why you even need such large limits if you're looking to deposit 5 bills, and wanna be able to bet 3K? I can see $500 limits it seems a little off to really care about larger limits than that with a $500 deposit.

I mean I understand when you're out there looking for freeplay bonus, the motive if to clear a rollover asap but i'm curious of your stratedgy, try and go on streak and just bet it all if you win a few bets?

[QUOTE=JoeyBagels;21631993]It's already been said but there are clear differences between Betislands 1vice.

1) 1vice has limit collars to begin with that are tied with deposits. They lift collars on losing accounts and ban players who win too much. There's been a few posters banned from 1vice for winning too much but they've all been paid from what they've posted. Betislands played a dangerous game and lost in this area by not booting winning punters. They tried catering to both recreational/sharp players and got buried for it.

2) Betislands gave out bonuses with limited rollover (4-5 times IIRC) as well as free halfpoints off key numbers like the 7 and 3 for their football promotions. The bonuses, having no limit collars in place on sharp accounts and not booting winning players was what ended them.

There's no guarantees in an unregulated marketplace. If punters don't feel comfortable deposting at 1vice that's their perogative but assuming books like 5dimes,bookmaker, or pinnacle are somehow safer based on a rating that this site doesn't even stand by when books go bankrupt is foolhearty.

Simply put a punter is losing value depositing at books like 5dimes/bookmaker for the "security" or "rating" which mean nothing. 1vice, hrwager, hollywood, sportsinteraction are all solid outs to give punters an edge. There's inherent risk in any deposit you send offshore but if you get enough reward back in return repeated over time you come out ahead.[ot

Spot on....Solid place to play....comparing them to the book that SBR was pumping(Betislands)is a crime.Common sense is king here

If i deposit i normally go all in. So a $500 deposit and a $500 FP would put me at around $1500. Then i work it up to about $1600-$1800 then take an all in shot again which would put me at $3000. I like to from there work it up but if i see something were i really like the numbers i will do $3000 again. I like that opportunity to be able to do that especially if i get hot it is nice to have higher limits. I am a very aggressive gambler at times.

Even if he is though to drop me because i asked about them on here is not right. And he kind of questioned me for getting advice here. I like to see what people say. If a bunch of different people all say they had the same problem with a book odds are it will be true. I can see if i went on here with no proof and badmouthed them making up lies. But i did not i just wanted to see what others said about them. In the end it really does not matter they originally asked me to deposit it is not like i bugged them to join or anything close to that.

cool , over at wagerweb, i bet the freeplay all on a four team parlay and if i hit i'll have a huge RO but ample cash to bet like crazy daily on a high volume of games, if i lose then the roll over isn't nothing i wouldn't easily accomplish from my normal betting style. winnings is the tricky part in general. I play that streak contest at betdsi and never had one longer than 6 so far.

Yes i like coming out the gate hot and get some cash to work with. I normally go all in right away . Once i get to $3000-$4000 i keep working it and if i see a game i really like i go all in for $3000 again. Normally my biggest bets are $3000 but i have done more a couple times but not often. That is an interesting thought to just use the FP on a parlay. If i do a parlay normally it is just 2 games but once in awhile i will do a 3-4 game one . Just not often.

I got a couple more e-mails from 1V so they are obviously watching what is said on here. They are still being very nice about it. I know they have a D rating on here . I asked before when i saw that what the reason was because overall i did not see too many horrible things about them. I did see a couple said they got limited but that they did get paid. Honestly i was really going to give them a try because of not finding anything horrible on them. Now- if i did deposit and THEN i got screwed you can be damn sure i would have said something about them everywhere i could.

But then again-if i won and cashed out and got treated decent i would have praised them too. I always praise the companies that have paid me as well as the books that keep their word . Look how i always praise Rebatewager . They are not one of the biggest books mentioned here but i love them to death as my favorite.

I know in that awfully rigged Casino at sportbet i would get like a rebate of $100 at times. My mind works like yours. I cannot do tons with $100 i will see it i can work this up. Then i will try to get that to $150 . Then from there i go and do 2 all in bets in the Live Casino. That would put me at $600 and i would have more to work with. Of course in a real casino i could bring $100 to $150 pretty easily. Online forget it next to impossible. And the few times i did get to the live Casino dealer gets 20-21 most times too.
