WSEX Slow Payout Updates

The number of complaints has been in the 6 to 8 range for the last month. The amount each player owed has gone up quite a bit. And the time to get paid has gone up as well. I have a complaint from September that is yet to be resolved. Also some October payments still to be resolved. I certainly wouldn't say that WSEX has turned any type of corner. It appears this period of slow pay is here for the long term.

the one person that i have been waiting for to say things are better at wsex -- tells us it's not any better after months of slow pay. i am waiting on a check now. will be asking josh to help me out again when it is late, like i did with the last 2. was realy hoping they would get thier 'act' together. i guess not. can't transfer fast enough, have been transfering for months, the limits get worse and the fees are bad. should have gotten out sooner. never thought these problems of slow pay would last this long. when will the rating change again, i hope soon, new people may be thinking of depositing there. thanks josh for all your help with this failing sportsbook.

Trumpdown, this is exactly what I did and I was fortunate that the WSEX wager lost.

I requested a check by regular mail on November 6th. I wrote to WSEX about a week ago, and they replied that checks by regular mail take from 20-30 business days, and that they would let me know when they have a tracking number. I don't know why there would be a tracking number for regular mail, but that's what they said.

I still have not heard anything. I will wait until it has been 30 business days and then file a complaint with SBR.

Also, I asked via email to do a transfer to Matchbook and they never responded. After a few days I wrote again and they said that MB has rejected the transfer to my account, and that MB said they had emailed me. I never received an email from MB. My account with MB is in good standing, so there would be no reason for MB to reject the transfer unless they are having problems with WSEX.

Ahh man. I decided to withdraw the maximum from WSEX last night. I hope it gets here in a timely fashion (30 business days not 64).

KG they say that all the time. We'll send you a tracking number. Even if its FEDEX. You never recieve a tracking number but suddenly, out of nowhere (perhaps a pun) you receive the check.

E-mail MB to confirm it.
I had emailed them just before making my post.

You are right. That is exactly what they are accusing me of! The problem is, I don't even understand why they have a problem with it!

Here is the email:

<<<<Having analysed you funding patterns it has become clear that you are using Matchbook for pass through transactions between WSEX and other sportsbooks such as Betphoenix.

In this specific case you made a Betphoenix withdrawal on December 8th and you now wish to refund your account with a WSEX deposit almost immediately afterwards.

The definition of a pass-through is where there are a large number deposits via one channel and withdrawals are via another channel. This is where there are interbooks in to replace funds that have been withdrawn.

Interbooks exists to facilitate reloads due to trading losses and for funds re-allocation -- not to re-supply funds that are being withdrawn via another channel.

We will not be able to facilitate any further WSEX transfer request in your case.

Please note that rollover requirements are guidelines; each transfer is dealt with on a case by case basis. If a client appears to be using Matchbook for pass-through transactions, which we do not support, we may revise the requirement accordingly or decline the request.>>>>

In the last 30 days I have lost $19,163 on Matchbook, so I am not clear WTF they are talking about. I just opened a BetPhoenix account through SBR, and I used a MB transfer to fund it. The reason I am requesting to transfer from WSEX is obviously to get my money out of a failing book, with the added benefit of adding more funds to my MB account, where I have been losing steadily in recent weeks.

These are my transacations going back to March:

June 30: 5K from 5Dimes to MB
July 11: 3K from Greek to MB
July 15: 2.5K from WSEX to MB
July 20: 6K from 5Dimes to MB
July 23: 2.5K from WSEX to MB
August 13: 2.5K from WSEX to MB
October 13: 7K MB to 5Dimes
October 13: 6K MB to Greek
December 18: 5K MB to BetPhoenix

I had two transfers on Feb 1st, but I didn't write down the amounts, and don't feel like looking it up. That is ALL of my transactions for the year. Considering my volume on MB (which easily covers any rollover), combined with recent significant losses on MB, it really doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Probably they just don't want to take transfers from WSEX and are looking for excuses? Or are they really this stupid? Matchbook is such a terribly run book, but they are the "only game in town". Meanwhile, WSEX is going under. **** you US gov.

I have received the same e-mail as KGambler. It makes me furious that Matchbook would accuse me of using them to funnel money to other books. Since MB is my main hub so to speak, of course I am going to use them for transferring money back and forth. They do not offer teasers or much props, so I transferred money to other books that do. I then wanted to put some money back into MB to provide liquidity for traders. I was denied. This is crazy.

I look at it the same way. MB is my main "hub" as well.

I am not one of these people constantly depositing and withdrawing money either. I am a dedicated gambler I make numerous bets every single day. The rollovers are not a problem for me. I think rollovers are more than justified, especially when I see how some people deposit, make one bet, then want to withdraw if they win.

The only reason I had to open a BetPhoenix account and transfer some money there is because MB has no liquidity until game day. I wanted to bet on the college bowl games, and I didn't want to wait until the day of the games to do it. They ought to work on their customer service and figure out how to improve their rather pathetic liquidity instead of harrassing customers over nonsense.

The Neteller days are long gone. Now that it is so hard to deposit or withdraw, interbook transfers are the easiest way for customers to move money. You would think that the various books would realize how important interbook transfers now are for the industry. I guess they don't.

Unless MB has a reason not to want to accept the many transfers they are receiving from WSEX? Something seems a little fishy about this. I would appreciate it if someone from SBR could weigh in as to whether this situation is normal or not.
