Price when it came out was 235.000 DM, now the price is 160.000-200.000 €.
My granduncle used to have one, but only for about a year or so, then he sold it again.
He still has some nice cars in his garage, like a BMW 502 or a Renault Floride (just to name a few). Guy is 83 now and not using any of them. The BMW 502 is the wedding car for everyone that marries in our family though. I would love to buy his Floride from him, but I guess I'll have to wait until he is dead. Was the car he bought for my grandaunt when they married. He was never the guy to sell anything. No matter how much the price rises. Houses, (special) cars etc. But he sold the Z8 back then
