Republican vs Democrat

He promised to lock up Hillary Clinton for using a private email server. He didn’t. Funny enough, Trump uses his personal cellphone for official business, and several members of his own administration, including Jared Kushner and Ivanka, have used private email in the White House

He promised to use his business experience to whip the federal government into shape. He hasn’t. His White House is in permanent chaos.

He promised to end DACA. The Supreme Court ruled that his plan to deport 700,000 young immigrants was unconstitutional, and DACA still stands.

He promised “six weeks of paid maternity leave to any mother with a newborn child whose employer does not provide the benefit.” He hasn’t delivered.

He promised to bring an end to Kim Jong Un’s nuclear program. Kim is expanding North Korea’s nuclear program.

He said he would distance himself from his businesses while in office. NOPE!!!

He said he’d force companies to keep jobs in America, and that there would be consequences for companies that shipped jobs abroad. Since he took office, companies like GE, Carrier, Ford, and Harley Davidson have continued to outsource thousands of jobs

He promised to end the opioid crisis. Americans are now more likely to die from an opioid overdose than a car accident.

He said he’d release his tax returns. It’s been nearly four years. He hasn’t released his tax returns.

He promised to tear up the Iran nuclear deal and renegotiate a better deal. Negotiations have gone nowhere, and he brought us to the brink of war.

He promised to enact term limits for all members of Congress. He has not even tried to enact term limits.

He promised that China would pay for tariffs on imported goods. His trade war has cost U.S. consumers $34 billion a year, eliminated 300,000 American jobs, and cost American taxpayers $22 billion in subsidies for farmers hurt by the tariffs.

He promised to “push colleges to cut the skyrocketing cost of tuition.” Instead, he’s made it easier for for-profit colleges to defraud students, and tuition is still rising.

He promised to protect American steel jobs. The steel industry continues to lose jobs.

He promised tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations would spur economic growth and pay for themselves. His tax cuts added $2 trillion to the federal deficit.

After pulling out of the Paris climate accord, he said he’d negotiate a better deal on the environment. He hasn’t attempted to negotiate any deal.

He promised that the many women who accused him of sexual misconduct “will be sued after the election is over.” He hasn’t sued them, presumably because he doesn’t want the truth to come out.

He promised to bring back all troops from Afghanistan. He now says: “We’ll always have somebody there.”

He pledged to put America first. Instead, he’s deferred to dictators and authoritarians at America’s expense, and ostracized our allies—who now laugh at us behind our back.

He promised to be the voice of the common people. He’s made his rich friends richer, increased the political power of big corporations and the wealthy, and harmed working Americans.

The fact you know this tells me you have wasted a lot of your adult life away “scrapping”. Ask your wife your top 50 broken promises.

We are never going to see anything in politics the same way. especially when starting around 2016 on. I respect the fact that everyone has a right to their opinion. We repeat so many of the same arguments weekly. It's not productive at all. I am going to do my best not to get involved in conversions anymore if it's just the same ole thing that we have voiced how we believe on the subject many times. Maybe when there is something new to talk about but the same things over, and over and over is a waste of time.
GL on your bets.
thousands of dollars in some cases isn't crumbs. This was for almost everyone. You try and demean it somehow because millions of people paying less in taxes is just awful all of a sudden. Yes you've made it very clear that you want people to pay more in taxes to a government who's over 34 trillion in debt and it will increase by a trillion every 100 days. BBBBBut Biden breaks the law of congress and the Supreme counts and uses your tax dollars to pay off a selected number of student loans for votes and you have no issue with this whatsoever. Because the MSM tells you its fine. The last 6.1 billion was to pay off loans for artists. Wanna bet that Hunter Biden, who gets 500K per painting because he's an amazing artist (nothing to see here as his buyer's identities are kept secret), is eligible for the loan payoff? LOL.

Wake up Jackpot. Believe what you are seeing. All the answers are right there in the open for you to see if you should so desire. Do not deny observable reality in favor of fake news narratives, no matter how many times they attempt to shove it down your throat.

Yes, you hate Trump. You always have. He's a shitty businessman in your opinion and a terrible person. Ya we all know. He's made mistakes. Yes he didn't fix healthcare like he promised. Yes I agree with you that Trump should have brought in the military to quash the violence in 2020 with the 574 riots, looting, and deaths all across the country. But how can you never mention the absolute scumbags and incompetent liars and crooks in the swamp all these years? Is Biden not one of the worst? He was in possession of classified docs in his open garage and 6 other locations. The special council said he wasn't fit to stand trial because he's mentally unable to, but he's somehow able to be president of the US? He can barely walk without falling and can barely put a sentence together. He flew his crackhead some all over the world in air force 2 and he got 10% of the secret deals he made with the Ukraine and the CCP? Look how many multi millionaires are in congress. several dozens millions and some over 100 million richer than when they got into politics making 174K a year. But you think paying off a hooker for something that happened 18 years ago is worth spending millions of your tax dollars on? Maybe you need a break to reset.

Bill you are one of the strongest cases of TDS. Virtually nothing you say is accurate but rather that slapping you in the face again with facts about every single mistruth you posted again, I will just post this regarding your first post. You are committed to deception as are a couple others.

If you can’t beat ‘em, intimidate ‘em. According to Frank Figliuzzi, the FBI’s former counterintelligence director, MAGA extremist groups are calling for a physical presence at polling places during the 2024 presidential election. “The mobilisation has already occurred,” Figliuzzi says. “The spectre of people who are violent in nature and have violent agendas, and often come armed with long guns, is becoming a very real possibility.”

Oath Keepers, Proud Boys, Boogaloos Boys, QAnon and so-called militia groups have put out a clarion call for a physical presence at polling places in November. The ostensible goal is “election security,” that is, the prevention of voter fraud. The real goal is to discourage, intimidate and otherwise prevent Democrats and others from voting for the reelection of Joe Biden. Their principal targets are polling places in blue inner cities and precincts where minorities vote in battleground states.

This kind of activity is, of course, not only highly illegal, it’s unconstitutional. But such laws can and will be broken in places where enforcement is poor or nonexistent. Local police sympathetic to the goals of such extremist groups might interpret violations of the law generously in their favour, or simply look the other way when a crime is committed.

Meanwhile GOP state legislators are working to overturn specific laws conceived to prevent such voter interference. For example, Nevada has a statute making it a felony for any person to “use or threaten or attempt to use any force, intimidation, coercion, violence, restraint or undue influence with the intent to interfere with the performance of the duties of any elections official relating to an election; or retaliate against any elections official for performing duties relating to an election.” The Nevada GOP has sued to overturn this law.

USA Today recently reported that “Republicans say they will mobilize more than 100,000 people in battleground states to ensure ‘transparency and fairness’ in the 2024 election, an announcement criticized by some as risking potential voter intimidation.” Apparently Republicans think, conveniently, that “transparency and fairness” are only at risk in battleground states. Their efforts are specifically targeted there — and nowhere else.

These dirty tricks are being employed together with efforts to have Democrats struck off the voter rolls. Only a fool or a MAGA Republican — but I repeat myself — would see this for anything but what it is. It is an unequivocal attempt to rig the 2024 election in favour of Donald Trump and other Republicans running in 2024.

The real question is, can they pull it off? To a certain extent they already have. The usual Republican dirty tricks have been in force for decades now. For example, gerrymandering was considered by many Democrats to be one of the biggest obstacles they encountered in the 2018 midterm election. The 2018 Blue Wave was not as large as it would have been had true representative government been the order of the day. But armed creeps at the polling place is another order of magnitude of cheating altogether.

Another huge win for Biden and the American people.

Confidence in Biden Economic Stewardship Historically Low

Lowest since Gallup tracked the metric

In its latest economic survey released early Monday, Gallup said confidence in Biden's "stewardship" of the economy is "historically low."

Confidence in a president running for reelection to fix the economy is the lowest under Biden since Gallup first tracked the metric, according to the pollster.
