Good luck with your family. Might join you sooner than later in not betting.

Not married but keep my gf in the dark on my sports betting. I go with friends to Reno & Vegas and gamble on table games so she knows I gamble but not to the extent that I actually do. But I haven’t been to Reno/Vegas post-Covid and somewhat lost urge to gamble at casinos. Lost all my points/rewards at casinos and don’t want to try rebuilding it.

Currently, all my gambling is sports betting but now I’m losing interest in it. I’m in California so no USA books and offshore books are really going downhill. Not just limiting me but they’ve been restricting me with discontinued live wagers or promos/bonuses. Tired of complaining and now just moving on. Have 10 books but will drop down to 2-3 books in having a balance.

I don’t know what it was but after last weekend I decided to stop betting on a daily basis. I’ll still check daily on odds but definitely not betting everyday. Though we don’t have legalized sports betting here, we still get all the commercials and constant mentioning of betting on sports programs. Tired of the amount of promoting it without even providing valuable info. It’s weird that we gain access to more info but it seems like we’re now getting less info.

Almost like there is no substitute for personal accountability and self control, who would've thought?

Don't get me wrong things like alcoholism gambling drug addiction etc. are extremely tough to overcome, but at the end of the day the only way the person affected can overcome them is through their own perserverence

Suicide hotlines have to be up also. Look at some of the people that post around here. All in, I’m back, I’m leaving, not gambling, here’s a play, blah blah blah blah. It’s called self control and self awareness. Most don’t have either so it wouldn’t matter if this were tobacco, alcohol, drugs and/or gambling.

She already knew pal. Just thought you were a winning degen. That’s what you told her before anyway.

Well said. Most can’t do the latter even without gambling so once you throw gambling in forget about it!

Greatest tool of the super-evil is make it illegal.

Nixon/nancyboy ron's war on drugs a monumental failure.

Though it did make the USA #1 in prison population. Land of the free, home of the brave.
