The Cousins deal, from a Vikings GM perspective, solved a musical chairs at QB for 3 years, got you a solid gamer every week, top 10 statistically QB play, cost you only cash and no draft picks, and if it doesn't pan out you're done in 36 months for what has become now really average starting QB money.
LA, Phi, SF, etc tied to the hip w the kids for years to come. Chi, Buff, Clev, etc using and trading #1s to try and catch QB lightening in a bottle. If it goes bad you're franchise is screwed.
