I take a break in June and July. After super bowl game i like college basketball..
Baseball is my big sport to bet on. There will be 4,860 wins during the season. I just have to find them.
Quitters gonna quit..
have to keep the action moving. hoops and bases keep the money flowing both ways. I need the action.
Betting playoff series, is imo easiest money in all of sports, 4 years running my biggest month. Anyone not betting in may is insane
Been on a pizza binge
local place
So depressing when football comes to an end. Used to shut it down but been positive units on college hoops so keep grinding
I stop and then it's back to betting on the Dodgers.
The NFL playoffs and Superbowl do bring a lot of unsophisticated money to the markets. That money overflows into the other sports. One of the best days to bet college basketball is the Saturday before the Superbowl. The books have inefficient lines everywhere, catering to the public bettors.
Don't underestimate the overall volume that March Madness brings to the table. Again the books swell unsophisticated money spills over into other sports.
March madness itself, because of the nature of the handicapping required, will give as a very inefficient market. It will even give us answers.
So no, stopping after the Superbowl for many diverse bettors, isn't the best plan for the year.
Overall, it depends on an individual's success by sport, but I recommend taking time off during the baseball all star break, when the markets go pretty quiet and a lot of market moving money is also taking a break.
