Maryland is the only team I feel got snubbed.
It's rare there is only one, but those kids should be dancing over saint Mary's or mtsu

Saint Mary's is deserving but Maryland should be in over MTSU for sure.
1 win vs. the top 100
I enjoy seeing Maryland win, and while I think they are a somewhat competitive team, they cost themselves that spot. They had many opportunities to get in and couldn't get the job done.
I'm still trying to figure out what Iowa did wrong. I know their OOC was a joke, but they had a better Big Ten record than Minnesota and Illinois, and went 2-1 head to head against them. They were 9-9 in the toughest conference in the country, won 20 games, lost a lot of close games, and yet they weren't even being considered.
Very young team will def be a threat next year
Whole team young unless all leave
UVA/Maryland would beat St Mary's on a neutral floor IMO
I haven't seen Middle Tenn much so I won't go there
I can see the argument over St.Mary's. I think MTSU got rewarded for a tougher OOC. Weak OOC + a poor finish to the ACC season is what I think got Maryland booted. Still, two wins over Duke is more than those other two teams can say.
saits
The site that would have hosted Maryland lost cash as a result too, as it is the main Under Armor school - and their fans are passionate and travel well.
That said, Maryland will still see some nice coin, as I am sure they will host an NIT game or two - and I presume those games to be sold out.
There are legitimate arguments for and against, but I think it is ok to make them wait til next year
I like to see small schools get to the big dance but St Mary didn't beat the Zags once this year but they got in. Maryland beat Duke twice. Kentucky beat Florida and Missouri. To not win at least once against a tourney team in your conference but still get a bid is suspect.
