Default Might play Indiana +6 for at least 10U today

I realize that on paper this makes very little sense. And I'm a little concerned about this line opening at +4 pre-market. But this is college hoops -- home upsets, or at least close games, happen. I think most of us forget that because it's been pretty much business as usual in college hoops so far this season -- a lot of easy public wins.

Kentucky is obviously the more physically gifted team, but they're playing their first true road game of the season with a lot of young, inexperienced kids. IU returns everyone, and has Zeller in the mix now as well. IU lost by 19 at Rupp last season, but this was a 1-point game at half and IU led with 9 minutes left. They were down 6 at the under 4 timeout. Kentucky pulled away with a huge closing run and a +30 free throw margin at home, and Liggins, Knight and Harrellson are all gone (their three leading scorers that day).

Kentucky is definitely a Top-5 team, but they're far from invincible. Bloomington can be one of the toughest and loudest places in the nation to play. IU will have to be at their very best, but I think they can keep this game within two possessions and at the very least cover. Haven't locked anything in yet, but I'm tempted to go pretty big on the Hoosiers in this spot.

Thoughts?

The other thing that concerns me, aside from where the line opened, is Kentucky's defense. It's been outstanding this season, and will continue to be. They're swarming and menacing on D, which can be a neutralizer on the road.

IU, on the other hand, seems to have some gaping holes in their D -- at least from the few times I've watched them.

Tough game to look at. Don't care too much for Kentucky -6.5 now (5dimes)

Threw them on the ML to close out my open parlay.

Then took Indiana in an open teaser right now when the line bumped to 6.5

But like you said IU is a tough place to play, but not quite sure they have all the athletes to play, but Zeller has looked pretty darn good this year so far.

1) indiana sucks and taking them praying for a cover is certainly not the best play on the board
2) if you have to get opinions confirming indiana then how can that be a "10 unit play"

"Kentucky is obviously the more physically gifted team"
you said it all right there

Indiana doesn't "suck."

I was just hoping for a discussion on the game -- not necessarily confirmation on the play.

indiana doesnt suck...ive made quite a bit of money off them already this year

dunno how i feel about this spot though....well see just how far theyve come today....and how good of a coach crean is

obviously when yer looking at it....it looks like one of those classic "athletic" mismatches....but indiana isnt northwestern....this team has some ability and real talent.....so it could be interesting....might put a small play on the hoosiers.....but im more interested to see just how good they can be cause ive had them pegged as a major sleeper this year that could be a major problem for some teams....so well see...indiana can be potent offensively if the shots are dropping.....they can score....but well see if they can score on a team as gifted as kentucky

yes indiana is better than the past 3 years where they were the worst in the big ten, but they still suck relative to kentucky.
what other team in a major conference is 8-0 and unranked?

i'm still pissed at crean for leaving a marquette team that has gone at least 10-6 every year in the big east to join an indiana team that has gone 1-17, 4-14, and 3-15 in the big 10.

terrific recruiter and i wanted him to bring another dwayne wade or even wes matthews to marquette
