T-Wizz 2014 NBA Playoffs

Well I thought I might be the beneficiary of another miracle on a big play after the Ray Allen game last year in the Finals but it just wasn't to be today.

I could've hedged before the OT but I believed very firmly all along OKC would win this game, so I can't really beat myself up about it. I went with what I believed in unfortunately it just didn't work out.

Can't believe how many late clock plays Memphis made in the 4th quarter and OT. I swear they must have had like half their baskets down the stretch with the shot clock down to 5 or less. Really didn't expect that from a team like Memphis.

This team continues to destroy me in the playoffs for fading them after the Clippers debacle. Wheels have really fallen off for me. It's just a couple of plays so I guess I can't get too discouraged but it's hard not to be...

Looks like my Griffin props are cashing at least. Very mild consolation.

This game had nothing to do with Vegas lol. Memphis just made a lot of big plays down the stretch, and a lot from guys you really wouldn't expect it from. When a team beats you like that you just tip your hat and move on.

Grizzlies don't have the fire power to keep up here. They should hang around and then OKC takes over late.

Like I said earlier, I really believe Thunder will take over this game late. Personally I like the Grizz but they are just no match for teams like this at the end of games. Their offense will tighten up. If Memphis tries to run through Randolph in crucial possessions at the end, it won't work. They can hang in there if they play a two man game between Gasol and Conley but either way I see Thunder taking over late here.

I still feel that the original number should hit.

unbelievable fellas..... i keep blindly fading this clown at $1000 a pop and keep winning. the dumbfuk will be paying for my next new car at this amazing rate of failure.

golden goose of fade

not for you but what they thought mattered to me man. Anytime they offer okc down 3 points with half a game to play at almost 1.60 at home I'm pounding the other side most the time. Didn't this game cos I was already on Memphis spread. Vegas knows man come playoff time they have the sharpest lines sometimes lol

Every lean is hitting with ease. In one of those ruts right now.

In hindsight, yea I was wrong on the Thunder-Grizzlies. Anyone who knows me here knows I am a big fan of the Grizzlies and always have been. Really believed OKC was going to just take over the game in the second half. They would show signs but couldn't quite get over the hump. It sucks because as a basketball fan, I loved seeing Memphis pull that game out.

I often pay attention to the lines they set and do read a lot into them. You have me wrong there.

But in this case having watched the game (maybe you didn't?) it was just one of those 50/50 games and in the end Memphis just made one more play, which you wouldn't expect but that's what happens. I'm not saying it was a bad beat or anything don't get me wrong here. I give Memphis credit.

It's as if I came after game 6 of the Finals last year where I won Heat 2nd half and kept my series bet alive to eventually win it and said "Hey Vegas knew guys". Sometimes you have to watch a basketball game for what it is.

I had a bad run in a 1-week span about a month ago, I'd been breaking even basically since and was looking forward to the playoffs to cut into that. Unfortunately I've added to it instead for now.

Maybe I went too big too early but like I said I really believed in OKC here, we both did. It just lost. It happens. I'm not going to win anything if I don't make plays.

Looking forward to the rest of the run. Looking back to last year I'd had a bad opening 2 days. This time it's the same thing except it was Saturday and Monday and not Saturday and Sunday. I know I can turn this shit around. It's just 2 games it's not like I'm 0-15 or whatever.

Going to Madrid for my soccer team's Champions League semi-final. Maybe that will clear my head a bit.

Looking forward to discussing the next games
