Re Chase110: last year I did not bet on the worst team ATS. Overall, Wallco lost a unit or so, but I avoided 2 losing series and made approx 40 units profit over the season. I'm not suggesting that my filter is worth anything in the long run, because it was not part of Wallco's back test and I certainly have not back tested it, but I believe that passing on 2 or 3 series per year will at worst deprive the player of only a few units profit, but it will avoid the high chance of losing 40 units per year. Food for thought, I think.....

There isn't a filter when a player is out. A player's injury will most likely benefit the spread.
But as always, if you don't feel good about a wager, don't play it.

Added: I made my wager around 12 my time Eastern (unaware that it was a 1030pm game), and I got SA at -7.5. I just checked and now SA is -8. The casinos already had Duncan out when they made the line.

Just because it wasn't part of the original backtest doesn't necessarily mean that it wouldn't be a better way to play it, or on the contrary that it would. That is a very complicated backtest to run, but one in which I would love to know the results.

Sorry did not let me get rid of the bold print when I copy and paste and was not going to retype it all. Just going to have to deal with it and enjoy a +9.1 unit day tomorrow.

SAS will not be a play via Thelimits recent post of the 3.5 filter. If you already place the bet, than its up to you to bet other side and take small loss on juice or leave it and hope it wins. The series is over.

This is my first year playing JM system and I thought you were only supposed to bet the SAS M/L against the Lakers since the line was -8? So wouldn't that mean theres no more bets for the SAS road trip?

Exactly, I am confused, too. I thought it's ML for favs and PS for dogs every time. Therefore my ML bet has won and SA series are over.

Don't confuse them, technically they are right. The traditional JM system says to play it the way they described, JMD is posting it as the 1-7-5 bet strategy for JM system, playing all games at (-110), regardless of dog or favorite. It is just a coincidence that the favorites in my system are bet the same way as JM traditional favorites, as M/L, and Chase 110 is NOT the cause of their confusion. If Chase 110 wasn't being posted in here, the same question would have been asked.

Too time consuming. I have numerous shortcuts in WORD that I don't have on here, and days when there are several plays, such as today, would take too long. Thanks though. For a play post in this thread, I have to write it up, paste it in my NHL Gold thread, hit post quick reply, hit edit post, cut the whole post, save it in here, STILL format a few issues after bringing it over, save it, then go back to NHL Gold thread and paste my NHL plays post in the post # that was occupied by the Chase 110 post. Pain in the ass, but the only way that it works for me. If I try to post it directly in here, it will give me an error message that says, "There are more than 100 objects in your post, 10 object limit". Funny, because I have NO objects in my post. Now the NHL thread that I use is two years old, it lets me paste it there but no other new thread on SBR. I don't know what they changed since two years ago, but they changed something, and it blows.
