Default RabidGolfer Picks

0-0-0

Hey all, I've been killing it recently and decided to start tracking my record here. In the last week I went 22-9-1 (I won't count those in my running count since I didn't post them ahead of time). I'm not a capper, I just bet my gut. If I quit, it's probably because my winning streak ended...ha!

Anyway, here's for Monday Night NBA (using Bovada):

Sac -5 (bought .5 pts)
Dallas -7
LA Clips +4 (bought .5 pts)
Chicago -4 (bought .5 pts)
Boston -11
Washington -1 (bought .5 pts)
Utah +3

Equal bets on all

There's a cover in every game, right?

Disclaimer: I'm not good enough to hit 6 wins and 0 losses every night. Last night was awesome, but I got lucky. Good luck to all!

Okay, here we go for 1-15-2013:

Milwaukee +6
Indiana -7 (bought .5 pts)
Philadelphia -3
Toronto +7
Houston -3
Portland +9

Equal bets on all, plus a very very small parlay on all six (because I'm kicking myself for not parlaying last night and taking a 50 to 1 payout).

8-3-2

Okay, obviously was a rough night. Here's how I ended up:

Milwaukee +6 Lost
Indiana -7 (bought .5 pts) Win
Philadelphia -3 Lost
Toronto +7 Push
Houston -3 Lost
Portland +9 Win

I'm over trying to pick on every game. Tomorrow will probably be two or three games I feel strongly about. Hope others did better.

I feel a lot more confident about tonight's picks. Here's what I'm going with:

San Antonio Spurs -5 (bought 0.5 pts)
Dallas Mavericks -4
Brooklyn Nets +3
Indiana Pacers -1 (bought 0.5 pts)
Golden State Warriors +2

I know I said two or three, but these five jumped out at me as obvious winners. Plus, I like to "diversify my portfolio" a bit. GLTA

Here are last nights results:
San Antonio Spurs -5 (bought 0.5 pts) Win
Dallas Mavericks -4 Win
Brooklyn Nets +3 Loss
Indiana Pacers -1 (bought 0.5 pts) Loss
Golden State Warriors +2 Loss

I had another 2-3 night, which is starting to hurt. I'm going to be even more conservative tonight however, and try to bet big on a couple of games. I'm leaning toward:

Lakers -1
Minnesota +5

I welcome your thoughts.

Results from Thursday:

Minnesota +5 loss
Milwaukee -1 Won
Los Angeles Lakers -1 (bought 0.5 pts) Loss
Plus a three game teaser for +8 points. Loss

I'm approaching .500, which sucks after my solid start, but going to try again today.

Picks for Saturday:

New Orleans -5
Minnesota +5
