They Fined him $100K for talking about the collective bargaining that's going on right now... apparently team owners aren't allowed to talk about anything that is going on with the bargaining...

Here's the article too much to write so fuk it, copy paste !!!

Michael Jordan has been fined by the NBA for making comments about the league’s ongoing collective bargaining process.
NBA spokesman Tim Frank confirmed the penalty for the Charlotte Bobcats owner on Monday, but said the league doesn’t comment on the total. ESPN.com reported the fine was $100,000.

In an interview last month with Australia’s Herald Sun, Jordan said the NBA’s current model was “broken” and called for revenue sharing for small market teams such as his Bobcats and the Milwaukee Bucks, whom Australian Andrew Bogut plays for. The Hall of Famer added that he knows “owners are not going to move off what we feel is very necessary for us to get a deal in place where we can coexist as partners.”
The NBA prohibits owners from speaking publicly about the labor situation.

this guy may have been a great player but he's a lousy businessman.
He has a net worth of more than 500 million dollars. I think for a black guy who grew up poor he did pretty good without any formal business education at Ivy League schools.

all of it as an employee of nba, nike, gatorade, etc.... with other smart business people doing the thinking for him.

businesses he's started himself, such as his chicago restaurant, car dealerships, etc. have all gone bankrupt.

So what? Since when hiring the right people to make you money has become a bad thing? Kudos to him. Only a smart person can hire smart people.

Ask ANY successful businessman or businesswoman, they have failed over and over again.
